Scream Factory posted the following on their Facebook page this morning:
Quote: **ARTWORK REVEAL: DOG SOLDIERS**
Hot off the heels of our art reveal of Sleepaway Camp last week, we have another one for you to start the week off right! Check out the newly-designed key art for our upcoming Collector's Edition of the epic werewolf film DOG SOLDIERS (DVD & Blu-ray combo out 6/24). This incredible vision comes to us from artist Nathan Thomas Milliner (who also did Sleepaway Camp, amongst others greats).
Production on extras have just begun and we'll have full details to report to you as to what they are in mid-April. Pre-order links on our site at ScreamfactoryDVD.com should appear in March in which a limited edition 18" x 24" poster of the art will be available exclusively through us with purchase of the combo.
Quote: **Update on DOG SOLDIERS**
Sorry guys but there's been a change of plans for our upcoming Collector's Edition release of DOG SOLDIERS that we need to make you aware of...
Due to unforeseen issues on clear ownership of the rights, we are forced to move the title off of its planned August 26th release. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to work out a solution to bring this back into our scary fold but, as of now, the street date is undetermined and there is a strong possibility of it moving to early 2015.
As always, we will keep you guys posted on any developments. Our apologies again.
Quote: **DOG SOLDIERS UPDATE**
We regret to inform you that we are moving the release date for DOG SOLDIERS again…but hopefully for good reason. The new official street date is now 6/23/15.
The film’s Director, Neil Marshall, has recently found potentially better film elements for us to work with so that we can create a new HD transfer. In order for us to do this, we need more time and which is why a delay was prompted.
We really debated postponing this underrated gem again but we know that many of you have requested a new transfer (better than the previous Blu-ray release) and we want to exhaust every avenue to bring one to you. Once we look at the elements, we’ll keep you posted on the status of it. We hope you understand our position on this and we appreciate your patience.

Update number 2
: Scream Factory has once again pushed back the released, but it appears that they found new film elements. The last Blu-ray release looked pretty awful, so this is good news.Quote: **DOG SOLDIERS UPDATE**

Just hope they properly re-master it. The present Blu ray video quality is HORRENDOUS...
Shout! are a bit hit and miss with their BD quality.
DVD too.
That's it - I'm sold.

What a sickener, this is a british movie and we don't even have a blu ray release of it over here and yet the US gets this, it's a complete disgrace.
I contacted Arrow video and they said that they have no plans for this but that it was a good idea so I guess we'll see.....

i love this movie and i love this cover art!
Had no idea Putin was in this.
There's a whole subplot where he steals a Super Bowl ring.
Now you would think being terrorized by werewolves would focus his attention, but nah - it's his 'precious'. Then he rides a bear, slaying lycanthropes with a metal coat hanger.
Yeah, I never understood that either.
Good movie though.

It is almost time for it (the movie) to howl on blu-ray soon
