Love the cover art
The film is full of Nunchakus - hence the 18 cert. Is wasn't so long ago that these would have been cut out.
I enjoyed this film after seeing the Hong Kong two disc - which actually has English subs on the extras for once!
Just had a quick look at the Hong Kong disc to compare. They got DTS 6.1 ES sound which rocked! The rest of the extras seem to match, other than 5 minuets from "Cannes Night and a Hong Kong Gala", and a photo gallery. On the Hong Kong disc the extras run for 2 hours and twenty minuets NTSC. I assume this is not dubbed into English. Hong Kong got both Cantonese (the original language I think, although some of the actors speak Mandarin in the interviews.) and Mandarin. The Donnie Yen interview ran 24 minuets so not some 2 minuet soundbite. He was great in the film.
As I said above this was a fun film, full of fast action and beautiful filming. It looks stunning.

It's got a pretty cheesy and weak plot but is pretty entertaining at times.
'Me, Myself and Irene' had a 15 (?) certificate, yet it had nunchakus (although no real damage was done, this could be the same if it's stylish).
Cover art is HKL-ish, but Showbox suggests Rarescope.
Nice to see the majority of the content was carried over, but the HK disc is probably better (is it progressive and are the subs good, in terms of translation/aligning?). Shame as it kinda doesn't do much for sales and the likes...
I hope this isn't an NTSC port...

I didn't like it at all. Worth only for rental
I wasn't overly impressed with the movie however it's also worth noting that the Hong Kong DVD features a full bit rate DTS 6.1 track.
I think fans of comic-book movies will enjoy this more than martial-arts fans in my opinion

I agree with that. Big dissapointment, it was rubbish.

As nice as it is to see a UK release that's had a little thought put into it,(this is a label to watch, their release of Welcome To Dongmakgol was excellent), the HK release is the one to go for. DtsEs sound as well as the extras being subtitled. Nonsense, but entertaining nonsense.
New artwork issued - it's a 15 after all.
