C**p artwork and c**p extras. Nice to see the HKL label hasn't been abandoned though.

I still cringe at the thought of "House of Fury."
The cover makes this look like a mexican wrestling video.
Do we still have to have WESTERN movies like "Kill Bill" and "The Matrix" used to sell classic era HK films?
The debt goes the OTHER way.

Tell me about it. The amounts of time I've seen: Hero, CTHD, HOFD, Kill Bill and the Matrix so loosely chosen on DVD cover arts is ridiculous.
Those aren't even examples of his best work (as action choreographer instead of film quality). Not that any of them are shabby at all.

Agreed but if the AV is up to the usual standard I can forgive them.
I watched Naked Weapon again last night it was sad in some way to see how HKL used to be. That DVD is a really well stacked 2 Disc but not only in quantity very much quality too.
The 35 minute "day in the life of" Maggie Q was a particular highlight ;-D

Yeah, the yoga lessons and stuff got your eye, I'm sure
I thought they abandoned the HKL logo? Let's here it for consistency! *rolleyes*

I'm sure that was just a rumour. It ended up on the Seven Swords cover despite not being on the press release cover.
Hmmm Maggie doing Yoga was great, especially when she stuck her butt in the air ;-D

C**ppy film though. I ended up getting the single disc release so I missed out on the Maggie featurette.

Blasphemy Naked Weapon's a great hong kong action film that's very underated! as for the extras mmmmmm I think I'll have to give them another look :p
I agree it's sad to think of the 2 disc HKL 2 disc platinum editions and see the backwards steps of releases now, hell there's no more Bey Logan commentaries either. That has got to be a blow to HKL to lose him.

They could try to get Mike Leeder involved again.

I know the martial arts could be better but the action as a whole was very good. While Maggie Q was fantastic & added heart to the film imo. I beleive theres lots to like beyond the puurty ladies!
