one of the best movies of 2012- tragically underwatched
The 2D version was in the cinema so fleetingly, I didn't get to see it. I suspect the film will do very nicely on Blu-ray and DVD.
It wasn't even one of the best films I watched last week, let alone of the year. The BD also has some serious audio balance issues.

Boo! Hiss!
Seriously though, what are the issues with the audio?
And does it have the extras from the US release?

You have two choices: listen at a comfortable level and learn to lip read, or turn it up so the dialogue is audible and risk blowing out your eardrums or getting your bones pulverised by the bass.
Don't know what extras the US release has, but the UK disc has a few things (I've listed them in the main article).

Shame, because I was blown away by the sound mix when I saw it in cinemas.
And sorry for not noticing the extras listzed above. Thanks. They are the same as the US release. I would have loved a commentary by Alex Garland, one where he explains how he is going to begin repaying the debt from this film.

They've reviewed this over on the AVForums and they gave the 3D disc 9/10 but said the 2D is pretty poor and gave it a 6/10......
Chris, any thoughts...?????
