It seems iTunes has an early release on it, its $17.99 in HD
There's also a TON of amazing fan posters out there.
How cool would something like this be for a blu-ray cover.

The artwork SUCKS! They should have used the poster art with the pink font.
I really want to strangle everyone with nail-spiked gloves that decides to use atrocious photoshopped garbage like this for the cover of the bd/dvd instead of one of the posters used for the theatrical release which is always 9999x better.
Yeah also why the hell did they change the font to that generic one? The 80s-style font is one of the most distinctive aspects of the poster and the opening credits. I swear the idiots that make the decisions for the cover art for the home release are from the bizarro planet.

Ok that poster does use the font that is on this updated cover but still, it doesn't mean it's the better one and has to be used for the home release, ugh.

shhesh the cover sucks

I will rent this after waiting a extra 28 days after the release at Netflix
Sony really dropped the ball with the Drive artwork.
Obviously the people that made this movie have no control over the cover art, that is horrendous! Pete Hammond has zero credibility why replace a New York Times quote...even Pete Travers (Rolling Stone) would be better, he just called it his favourite film of the year.
So, a generic new font and they replaced A.O. Scott's quote with one from Pete Hammond. Still baffled by this artwork.
I never seen this film, but I made my dad see it and he said it was one of the worst films he has ever seen. He said that the main charcter hardly said anything in the movie and that there wasn't even that much driving. Me, on the other hand, really want to watch this movie. Ryan Gosling is one of the best actors of our generation and I agree with almost everything that movie critic Peter Travers says. Maybe I'll rent. The artwork is terrible.
All I'm saying is the hot pink titles should've been the first thing they put on this cover. I have the poster from the film with the hot pink title and I absolutely love it. Such a throwback.
Wow, worst cover art ever for one of the years best...lame!
Ultraviolet is horrendous, if your going to give me a stream copy at least make it a good quality.
That coverart is terrible

I never thought I'd be saying this about a movie's artwork but... where is the hot pink!?!? So many great posters for this movie and that photoshopped mess is what they're going for. Yikes.
And I don't care about digital copies that much, but ultraviolet is terrible.

That artwork needs to change.
No I'm not saying its pretentious because its artsy. It's pretentious because people are making it out to be this unbelievably incredible film when it its not that original. The film was very dull in my point of view and way too unrealistic. Ryan Gosling wasn't that great. He was definitely good and carried the film nicely but not Oscar-worthy. The soundtrack is effing amazing! That deserves the Oscar.
Can't wait to own this. Favorite film of 2011.
I wish the title was in hot pink like on most of the posters and promo material.

Society is weird like that. You're only cool when you're indifferent.

One of the best films of the year for sure. I LOVED it. Ryan Gosling is AMAZING and deserves an Oscar nomination for his performance. This deserves several nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actress (Carey Mulligan). Can't wait to buy it.
And I agree with everyone on the soundtrack. It's fantastic. The film isn't for everyone though. WOM among mainstream viewers who expected an action film was toxic. I've been trying to prepare my friends who want to see it for what kind of film it actually is because I know they'll hate it otherwise. They were expecting an action film from the ads and title.

I haven't seen ATTACK THE BLOCK yet but DRIVE and HANNA are two of my very favorites this year too, along with 50/50 and BRIDESMAIDS.

Hilariously enough it's Mistral the same font used for the TV show Silk Stalkings!
Loved the movie, and will be picking up the BD first day out.

btw the screener online is a tad different in places than the theatrical cut. nothing major but it's different.
I dl the sundance/cannes/oscars/golden globes dvd screener of this from piratebay and ive watched it 7 times since then in addition to seeing it at the independent films theater near me where I also saw tree of life. I will def pick this up on blu-ray as well!
This was the best movie of the year so far, It's a definite first day BD pick for sure. It's been hard to top....

I f**ked up and missed this in theaters. Something came up every time I meant to see it, so I'm very much looking forward to this release, and keeping my eyes peeled for a review copy (haven't heard anything yet).

like most everyone else...i loved this movie too. and the soundtrack...totally awesome!!!
If you do expect a film about driving, its of course not. But this film is very artsy and a kinda pretentious. I give it a 7.5/10.

I choose to look at the title as synonymous with "purpose", which the protagonist finds in his simple relationship with Irene and Benicio.

Fantastic movie. Best of 2011 by a long shot.

Great movie. Probably nitpicking here, but could have done without the overkill elevator scene

Love this movie, one of the best of the year. The reason its slower at the start is so it can develop its characters so that when the action does come we care. I recomend everyone to see it but I question the replay value. It's well worth seeing at least once
Definitely picking this up on day 1. Hands down my favorite movie of 2011 so far. Hopefully the cover artwork is the same as the awesome posters.

A bit overrated, but it was definitely great, and one of the best of the year.
Although for a movie called "Drive", I expected just a tad more of driving

Liked it, but incredibly overrated. Prob won't buy it unless it's like 10-15 bucks one day.
Best picture of the year.
