Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced Dungeon Girl which tells the twisted story of a young girl abducted and held captive for six years. The Ulli Lommel directed film will be available to own from the 8th July, and should retail at around $26.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Stereo Surround track. As far as we know, no extra material will be included.

God, for a minute I thought someone fast-tracked a DTV movie about that guy in Austria who held his daughter captive in the basement her entire life. I'm certainly not putting it past any studio to make a film of that sooner or later.

By the way, editors, this is from the director of THE Boogeyman, a DTV flick designed to capitalize on Sony's few-years-back Boogeyman.
Ulli Lommel is the only director worse than Uwe Boll.

Actually, it's from Ulli Lommel, the director of The Boogeyman, from 1980, which was remade by Sony several years back.
