Not all that comparable a cover to the US version. Neither is particularly better than the over. I prefer the ENEMY OF THE STATE-like poster (you know, the blue-grey one with a paranoid-looking Shia LaBeouf on top, and a despairing Michelle Monaghan on the bottom), myself.
Oscar nomination? Are you serious?
Have you seen the film?
Seriously though, yeah, i'm a huge fan and he does a great job in the film. Actors who have done worse have been nominated before.
Everything he does comes off as being very natural. It never feels as though he's acting. I'm not talking about this role in specific, but overall; that's what i think.

Yes I have, and no way was his performance Oscar-worthy. The material simply wasn't good enough for that to begin with. I asked because I thought you were being sarcastic. I guess not!

Thinking about it already doesn't sound right. Let's pretend this movie was released last year.
"and the nominees are:
Daniel Day-Lewis - There Will Be Blood
George Clooney - Michael Clayton
Viggo Mortensen - Eastern Promises
Shia LaBeouf - Eagle Eye
Tommy Lee Jones - In the Valley of Elah."
Thought this was pure garbage btw, which was surprising 'cause I liked Disturbia and Salton Sea alot.

And now you're laughing at me. Nice!
Why don't you forget that i said it so it won't feel that embarassing for you.
Everyone have different opinons...
Let's change the subject and talk about what really matters; the cover. How bad the cover is, isn't that what we usually discuss?

I don't think anyone laughed at you.
Well, good, makes me feel a lot better.
I suggest nominating Paris Hilton for her outstanding performance in The Hottie & The Nottie :-))) Some would argue that running against Meryl Streep, Kate Blanchett and Kate Winslet would be hard, but hey, what do they know? ;-)
P.S. I'm just joking, don't take it as a laugh at you :-)

How could Shia win an Oscar when no one knows how to pronounce his bloody name!!! Is it Shea or Shya, la Buff or la bouf
But he does have a likeability about him.
I'm in no rush to see this anytime soon. Not that I didn't like the film but it was anything but fresh, get it in a sale sometime next year.

Since nobody wanted to see the movie with me, I guess I'll rent it.

I might have used the wrong words, Oscar nomination was taking it abit far, but he's sure talented and i really believe in this guy. He's gonna be really big. He already is i guess, with Transformers and Indiana Jones and all.

You know what... I remember watching the scene where LeBeouf is crying at his twin brothers funeral and thinking... bloody hell this guy can act!
He is a quality actor who is waiting for THE role to get him some respect. "Eagle Eye" is NOT it. It's good entertaining fun but won't win anyone (including LaBeouf) any awards.

If you want to see a movie where Shia LeBeouf's acting abilities get an Oscar-worthy showcase, watch A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints.....
As for this, well, no......just no.

Well, allot of people are saying that he will be one to watch in the future so you never know...
I may have inadvertently added a new news item instead of linking to this one with the full specs/artwork. Now corrected. Bad Chris.

I did. Nah seriously the film was worthy of my 2 hours but LeBouzzle or LeBuff or whatever his name is ain't gettin a f**ken Oscar anytime soon. Maybe Rise Of The Fallen? (f**k off I'm kiddin'!!!)

They could've left off the very end part of the film and ended it with a bang IMO. Would've made it even better.
