Good movie. At times the "wittiness" is overdone, and her parents and teachers are completely insufferable characters, but for the most part I enjoyed it.
Also, had I not been seeing everything through star-shaped Elton John glasses, I'd be totally obsessed with Emma Stone.

YAYYYYYY Blu-ray!!
I have enjoyed emma stone in other movies but she cannot carry a movie as the lead inho. the whole story made no sense either. my wife hated it too and she usually loves this kind of c**p. I have not seen IKOAFS gregmss but will give it a go. I do disagree with you though. i do not think her character was relatable. i did not see the purpose of her lying about sleeping with guys. sure people can say it is a movie. a fantasy but it did not work for me on any level. but i seem to be in the minority. according to aggregate moviesite rottentomatoes anyway. thank you for your time.
LOVED this movie. Emma Stone is awesome.
@RoyMunson, If you want to see a really annoying lead character watch It's Kind of a Funny Story. I thought Emma Stone was a delight in Easy A, playing a teenager who had relatable problems.
Good movie, but just get the US Blu.

And it's Sony too. It's so weird.

I enjoyed it. an enjoyable homage to John Hughes teenage movies from the 1980s
Yes, agreed.
This movie is overrated, I've been tricked to watch it, it's really not that great.

Surely an aggregate review site is a reasonable indicator of quality? Oh and Marcus, I know, stupid isn't it?
No Blu? Seriously? WTF?
Overrated by who exactly?
movie is HIGHLY OVERRATED. cant remember the last movie i saw that had such an annoying lead character. the supporting characters are just as bad. tried to be a hughes type movie for the new generation but failed completely imho.
