IS THIS A SEQUEL OR A PREQUEL TO THE 2000 MOVIE STARRING STEVE RAILSBACK?HEY LOOK ON THE BRIGHTSIDE,IT HAS SOME NICE LOOKING BABES IN IT.

The movie starring Mark Holton (Francis from Pee Wee's Big Adventure) was Gacy. The 2000 movie In The Light Of The Moon (titled Ed Gein for video/DVD release) starred Steve Railsback (he played Charles Manson in what is, IMHO, the best TV miniseries ever made, Helter Skelter (1976)) as Gein.

I have to disagree with whoever said all DTV movies are horrible. For the most part, that is true, but, every now and then, there is a surprise. Such as Tamara. Though, it had bad acting, it was still a fairly enjoyable horro flick.

Yeah, he did that, but there were several women that went missing in the area between 54 and 57. Not to mention that forensic evidence wasn't exactly solid in the 50's, there's no telling how many people he really killed.

Man, I'm shocked at all the hating on Gein's killer status. What's a guy gotta do to rate? Jack the Ripper had like 8 kills, and he's the original recipe serial killer. Gein inspired many, just listen to Slayer's "Dead Skin Mask"
Nooooooooooo..... Jackie had only five kills and Gein had only two. Learn to live with that... Sicko.

Guess Kane Hodder must have really missed playing psycho killers wearing masks.

Ah, yes! "THE WISCONSIN RIFLE MASSACRE."
By the way, it's most likely he only killed those two elderly women. And the only reason Ed did was probably because they reminded him of his mother, who made Margaret White look like a sexually liberated atheist.
On the other not.... DEAR GOD ANOTHER STV ED GEIN MOVIE?!?!?!?! How many more? Jeez! And I sure as hell hope that Kane Hodder isn't playing Ed Gein. THAT would be the miscasting of the decade!

Kane is a great guy, I just don't see the casting here. Ed Gein was a scronny older man, not a 6'3 hulking weightlifter. All these DTV movies based on real serial killers suck balls 99% of the time anyway. Hopefully someone will let him play Jason again.
Gary Soneji wrote: Ed gein was hardly a serial killer. They also forgot to mention silence of the lambs.
He may have only been credited with two official homicides, but saying Gein is hardly a serial killer? C'mon man, he set the bar for many. He's suspected to have done at least 10. He didn't make all those trinkets from just 2 victims. You gotta give the credit where it's due bro.

I like the quote at the top that isn't really a review of the movie, just more an observation...
Ed gein was hardly a serial killer. They also forgot to mention silence of the lambs.
Fairly fitting they've got the guy who played Jason Vorhees in it, though I suppose.
Admit it though - you would watch this.

All DTV movies are horrible.Especially Steven Seagal.
This must be better than the horrible DTV movie starring that guy from Pee Wee Hermann that came back a few years. But I am sure it will still be a pretty bad movie.
