I saw the preview for this, it looked pretty good. I might rent, maybe blind buy but not until I get some money.

Will def check this one out!
Bloody-Disgusting has been covering this one for a while and it sounds very interesting from what I've read there. I just hope it is uncut. The cover is bland though.
This movie was visceral and terrifying. I will definitely make a Blu-ray purchase for sure. It is a shame it did not get a theatrical run here in the U.S. I had to download it to watch it. Now I know it is worth a purchase!
I really can't wait to see this, but why'd they use an English magazine quote on the cover?
This movie has possibly the worst ending I've seen in a movie. I hated the ending so much that I wouldn't even recommend watching it.

I haven't heard the movie. What's the movie about with no spoilers.

synopsis please
Refusing to let anything spoil their romantic weekend break, a young couple confront a gang of loutish youths with terrifyingly brutal consequences.
***VERY MILD SPOILER***
The artwork is great and I really hope we get the same when it's released in early January 09 here in the UK (although oddly, still no official statement as yet). It's a harrowing film to watch and left me truly shellshocked after leaving the cinema. The brutality of the violence and the characterisation of the youths is frighteningly realistic (at least here in the UK). I'd recommend watching it because I think it's an excellent film that makes a very important social statement about the state of certain 'youth culture' here in the UK, but just be prepared for some graphic violence - some of which is perpetrated against young children.
P.S. Official announcement has just arrived today... would appear that while the R1 has less extras than the R2, it does include a commentary track which is missing on the upcoming R2 info. B****r!
P.P.S. Those R2 extras in full...
* 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen
* English DD2.0 Stereo and DD5.1 Surround
* English HOH subtitles
* Interviews with James Watkins, Kelly Reilly, Thomas Turgoose, Michael Fassbender and Christian Colson
* Behind the scenes
* Q & A with Director James Watkins
* TV spots
* Theatrical trailer
* Extreme trailer

if there was an alternative ending I'd be all over this!
Agreed the ending is somewhat far fetched but I think in the context of what has gone before it works well.
Kelly Reilly was gorgeous in this.
