Oh, so this was that film with Justin that turned out to be horrible and went direct to video, I thought it was just called "Edison", o well, might see it to see how bad it is.

No theatrical release with this cast????
Apparently, no one is above DTV, either.
That is an ugly cover.
If it wen't for Justin, it would have been released in theaters I think
I would expect something like this from LL Cool J, but Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey? wtf
Looks like a knock-off of S.W.A.T.
I loved S.W.A.T., so this maybe worth a look see.
Ironically, LL Cool J was in SWAT. So instead of Sam Jackson, we get Morgan Freeman, and instead of Colin Farrel we get Justin Timberlake. Then Kevin Spacey was in The Negotiator which was another SWAT-type movie.
Whatever happened to David Morse? He's great in these kind of roles.

WOW. I was wondering what happened to this flick. I read a ton about it and then POOF... nothing till now. Must be pretty bad. I definely wanna see it tho cause there's been nothing but raves for J.T. out of Sundance for his role in 'Alpha Dog' so i'm curious as to how his first outing went. Interesting move....
For some views on this film, check out its listing on IMDb under just Edison. Hint..they're not good. JT acting apparently stunk, with a pre-pubescent sounding voice.
What an absolute horrible cover for such a strong cast.
I think Kevin Spacey was sentenced to do this movie as penance for raiding Steven Seagal's wardrobe.
Edison Force definitely must be up there in the 'worst film titles of all time' category.

THAT COVER IS TERRIBLE!!! THEY ALL LOOK CONSTIPATED!!! IT IS QUITE HILARIOUS THOUGH!!
Wow totalllllly surprised by this I thought the cast was good enough to allow a theatrical release but apparently not! Jeez Louise...
When there is only faces showing on the cover, you know the movie blows.
Actually it's not that bad.
The script and the direction is what hurt the film the most.
The actors did the best they could with what they had to work with.
It's not a great film, but it's far from the worst film ever made.
And I'm sure all the teenage girls will be thrilled to watch their heartthrob on screen.

Is it just me or does LL Cool J's head look unaturally large?

Yeah, as opposed to 90% of the DVD covers on the market right now.

lol

I've seen it and it's AWFUL. Justin's acting is hardly the only fault with the movie but it sure doesn't help.
I've seen some sites that are selling it and they are saying it's aspect ratio is either 1.78 or 1.85
I know it's actually 2.35
Sony isn't going to change it's aspect ratio are they?

What a terrible cover!!! Timberlake just looks wrong next to actors, and poor LL Cool J looks like a hunchback with an overgrown head. I feel very bad for Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey because they are great actors, and they should never be seen in direct to video c**p. I must say that the funny part is that there was some buzz around this film, and then nothing about it for a while, and now here it is. I wonder if this collapsed because of the director or the script, because if it was the script then it shouldn't have been green lighted and that's the studio's fault.
I also saw it, and it's pretty bad. I feel bad for Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey for being in this movie.
The cover looks so cheap...

I would not be surprised, Lions Gate has been doing that with alomst every release lately, "Lord of War", "Saw II" and "Waiting..." have all been changed from their original aspect ratios of either 2.35:1 or 1.85:1 to 1.78:1. So I would not be surprised if Sony does it.

I was waiting for the theatrical release, but it never came. With a DTV release with a cast like that, it must be a horrible film.
This movie was scheduled for theatrical release as a political drama named "Edison". They even debuted the trailer on the TV show Extra. Now we are suppose to believe it's a "thriller" called "Edison Force".....THUMP!.....did you hear that? That's the sound of me laughing so hard I fell out of my chair.
I look forward to watching this for some reason. Hmmm I can't figture out why.... must be the cast.
No offense, but this movie must be pretty awful to go straight to video with two of the greatest actors of all time together for the first time. Bad decision in casting two legends with two rap/pop stars.
Definitely give it a shot anyway. Anything with Spacey and Freeman's worth a viewing. Even if it's as bad as they say.
remember reading a while back that freeman and spacey were raving about that lad timberlake was an awsome actor on the set of their new 'political thriller' edison. didnt believe them... after all I saw his acting in that mtv spoof of matrix reloaded
This is already out in Sweden...with a better cover anc only called; Edison
whats up with Spacey's head in the cover, it looks squished or something.
