Eight Men Out
I believe this is the only baseball movie ever made without any play by play announcers while they game is going on.A great film by the way.
YES!!! A Very pleasant surprise!!!
This is one of those double dips where I am HAPPY to comply (since it's been years since the original purchase and it was totally bare bones... the sweet price on this also makes it great - oh, and the artwork on this one is great, of course. the previous DVD had a total c**p cover).
THANK YOU, MGM!!!...or SONY! or WHOEVER!

D.B. Sweeney's name is mispelled... Hope they fix it before it's released
One of the greatest sports films ever made!
I'll pick this up, since I don't own the previous release.

I trust this is an anamorphic widescreen transfer?
I would slightly alter the artwork -- put the names on the actual image instead of on that red bar thing and then put the title at the bottom but otherwise yeah it's pretty good. As it is now it just looks kind of crowded and noisy at the top.
Fantastic artwork. I might have to pick this one up.
I really want this, but I too would rather have it on Blu-ray. Oh well, I will just have to suffice with this edition. A great, great movie.
Come on MGM!!!What about releasing at the same time the Blu-Ray version!!!
