Quote: From the writer of Training Day comes a gripping, action-packed cop drama starring Academy Award® nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena. In their mission to abide by their oath to serve and protect, Officers Brian Taylor (Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Pena) have formed a powerful brotherhood to ensure they both go home at the end of watch. But nothing can prepare them for the violent backlash that happens after they pull over the members of a notorious drug cartel for a routine traffic stop. Seen from the point of view of the officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, dash cams and citizens caught in the line of fire, a 360° perspective creates a gritty, compassionate and intense portrait of the city's darkest streets, and the brave men and women patrolling them.

You would be incredibly wrong. I saw the movie the week before it opened and it's very gripping, very involving. The performances were fantastic and the way it was shot made it all the more entertaining and personal. I loved every minute of it.

This was a good flick, sad too. I had zero desire to see it till I read the good reviews and my sister recomended it.
This movie looked and sounded like nothing I would ever be interested in let alone actually like. I decided to sit through it because some friends wanted to see it and found myself pleasantly surprised. I found it very involving and entertaining from start to finish, blew away any expectations I had about it in a good way.
One of the best films of the year. Surprisingly emotional, intense, and fantastic chemistry between the two leads. This movie exceeded all my expectations and blew me away.
End Of Watch
The way it was shot, was what was annoying about the film. All that hidden cam stuff, and how it was shaky alot, actually started to make me nautious watching this movie.I've never gotten motion sickness watching a movie until this one.
Very very good movie. Just saw it last night, chemistry between the two leads was amazing - felt like they were on the job for 3 years before filming together. Action was decent too, had a lot of adrenaline for traffic stops, clearing houses, etc. Felt like I was there with them. Definitely see this one!
Wanted to see this when it came out in theaters, but missed it. This will be a definite blind-buy...
Really wanted to see this so I'll pick it up for sure!
