Thats it? Deleted Scenes and a Trailer? Fail.
Damn, I don't know one person who saw this.
Anyone who buys this should be hit in the head with a shovel. There's ZERO value in this release. The film sucks and there's bare bones extras. I would be less agitated if someone bought it for $10 on BD, if they waited for a year after the release. But someone who spends $30 on this, is dumb. I agree with stevepulaski. Deleted scenes and a trailer? What the h? That's insulting. I'm gradually noticing a scarcity in extras. For example, the Drag me to hell BD only had production diaries as an extra, yet a BD has 25GB. That makes ZERO SENSE to put ONE extra on a disc that can hold that much capacity. This is why pirating occurs more often. Shame on you movie studios! For shame!
That cover scares the s**t out of me.

Any young girl with High School Musical crush will LOVE this piece of c**p. This movie had the worst editing of 2009! Literally. Ahhhh...not to mention worst acting.

U don't have $30 for a dvd that is just the price they have in those magazine things for video stores. People who enjoy musicals and dancing, will like this. I saw it and it was great. Not everyone has to like the same movies. There were also way worse movies then this, this year. It will be around $15 probably. I will wait a couple weeks and get from Blockbuster cheaper, but will pick it up
It's the worst dance-movie in years; down there with Hairspray.

Ugh - Hairspray the musical? Whenever we used the see the posters up at cinemas, we always spat at Travolta's irritating visage.
Oh, and this comes from two long-time John Waters fans...

Wanna see c**p editing this year? see "The Vampire's Assistant"...THAT one had horrible editing. I could've done better.

Sounded awful. Looked awful. Heard it was awful. PASS!
Not bad, but confuses fast pacing and a throbbing soundtrack for actual character development. But Naturi Naughton was the best thing about the movie... shame there wasn't a better screenplay and original songs to suit her talents.
Stick with the original, if you must.

Can't wait to see this piece of s**t. I hope it isn't as bad as I heard. Well it can't be as brilliant as the original, that's for sure. I'll rent this.

Hairspray, despite its teenage girl target audience, has lots of charm and some hilarious memorable performances. Fame is just a turd.

The lead girl is hot, that's pretty much it.

I thought Hairspray was good - didn't like "Mamma Mia."

That's why I didn't plan to see it.

ROFL at the girl PASTED ON in the bottom right!
Hairspray ROCKS! This, probably not.
I have a hate for this movie if only because they advertised it before Harry Potter with the tag line "there's another school that can teach you how to fly...". I wanted to throw something at the screen right there, but I could tell just about everyone else in the theatre was like WTF as well. No real surprise it bombed horribly.
An extended version? Gawd help us....

...so basically deleted scenes and a trailer!
