Family Guy It's A Trap (US - DVD R1)
Fox reveals package artwork for the DVD of this new December 21st release

Synopsis
Quote: In this spectacular and offensively uproarious final chapter, Luke Skywalker (Chris) and Princess Leia (Lois) must travel to Tatooine to free Han Solo (Peter) by infiltrating the wretched stronghold of Jabba the Hutt (Joe), the galaxy’s most loathsome and dreadful gangster. Once reunited, the Rebels team up with a tribe of Ewoks to combat the Imperial forces on the forest moon of Endor. Meanwhile the Emperor (Carter Pewterschmidt) and Darth Vader (Stewie) conspire to turn Luke to the dark side, and young Skywalker is determined to rekindle the spirit of the Jedi within his father. The Galactic Civil War has never been more outrageous, as the Rebel forces gather to attack the seemingly defenseless and incomplete second Death Star in the battle that will determine the fate of the galaxy.

Coming to DVD/BD on 12/21/10. A Trilogy pack is also being released the same day. No word if the Trilogy will offer Blue Harvest on Blu as well. I hope so or that will be a great disturbance in the Farce. Seth McFarland has said that they will not spoof Episodes I-III, but may take on Indiana Jones and Star Trek.
Love that artwork.
the first one didn't do it for me, but the last one was pretty damn funny.
i read over at ign.com that rush limbaugh is the rancor...so now i'm wondering who meg is going to be this time. the carkoon pit monster maybe?

is that tim the bear as an ewok?
Thought this was supposed to be called "I've got a bad feeling about this"
Either way, Dec is too long away!

I'm sure there will be a Christmas exchange and viewing of this movie at my friend's house that day.
The first one raised the occasional smile but overall felt like a rip-off, even for a fiver. The second was pretty entertaining. Hopefully this will do a decent job. Will pick up the box set on blu-ray if there is one.
Oh, yay, another one. Sigh.

Don't worry, this is supposed to be the last one.

I'm pretty sure that's just Brian made up to be an Ewok.

Brian is Chewbacca and yeah that definately looks like Tim. but considering the art style of Seth's shows are all the same, its likely just their generic bear design.

the way they treat her, i totally expect her to be that giant frog thing sitting outside Jabba's palace. its a tiny little scene which would fit the pattern of how they've used her in the previous two.
if not, then maybe they'll shock us and give her an actual role. lol

Hopefully the blu-ray is 16:8 resolution this time.

No, that should be Tim. Seth MacFarlane told the audience at Comic-Con that this episode incorporates characters from all three of his shows.

I've kinda phased out of Family Guy lately, and I never really got into Cleveland. Anyways, forgive my ignorance if this is an obvious question, but, who is that 'playing' Bib Fortuna?
They changed the title! Originally this was going to be called "We've Got a Bad Feeling About This!" Well, given my love of The Big Bang Theory and Sheldon's impression of Admiral Ackbar by shouting "IT'S A TRAP!" I don't mind it too much :-).
The artwork is pretty cool, but I dont have too much to say. Didnt see "Something, Something, Something Dark Side" and dont plan on it. Dont even like "Star Wars" that much.
I'm a big Family Guy fan so I'll be picking this up tho I which it was coming with the Cleveland Show Season 1 and Banned Episode DVDs on September 28th instead of the tuesday before Christmas.

i doubt it, for some reason Seth wont do Family Guy widescreen. its weird because Cleveland Show has been since the beginning and American Dad recently made the switch. so now when i watch the Fox sunday night lineup, Family Guy is the only show that isn't 16x9, its annoying. lol

When the show comes back in September it will be in hd like the rest of the shows, just wasn't sure when they started making this movie though.

First one didn't care much about it, haven't seen the second one.
The ones I found hilarious were the Robot Chicken ones

Quagmire is already C3PO and unless they decided to change with this movie, i've noticed that nobody plays multiple characters.

well thats great news!! hopefully this movie was their first "test" of the format but either way its good to hear the show finally made the switch. i wonder if they'll have a whole new opening credit sequence like Simpsons. or just make a 16x9 version of the same one like American Dad did.

God I'm so tired of Family Guy
I'd like to see them do Back to the Future next.
And I hope Meg turns out to be Jabba the Hutt. I think it would be perfect to give her a slightly bigger [and still disgusting] role for the final movie.
And if characters from all three shows are in it, Klaus would be a perfect Ackbar.

oh my, meg as jabba hitting on lois as leia? interesting indeed. lol and klaus as ackbar would be pretty cool. maybe instead of him saying "its a trap", they can make some lame sound of music reference about the von trapps. lol

I love the fact that they have kept the lightsable colour error from the original poster lol!
I thought the first one was quite funny throughout (although never hilarious). The Empire adaptation I didn't find that funny, with the exception of the carboinite scene where I burst out laughing.
"I love you..."
"F- off!"
And then the moon. LoL.

Oh, wait - it's difficult to successfully pull-off sarcasm in printed form...
