Goddamnit Hollywood, stop calling these releases "2-Disc Special Edition" when the second disc is nothing but a f**king useless Digital Copy!

digital copies stink
what is a digital copy? is it like a avi/,mpeg file so you can put it on a mobile or ps3 hardrive?
This is one of my favorite films of 2009 so far. Loved every second of it. Can't wait for the DVD!
That red box and artwork is just awful......AWFUL.
The Artwork will most likely be revise, they still haven't add the swoosh yet lol!
Artwork looks like one of those cheap re-releases, as part of a series. Ugly!
Apart from one overly Cgi sequence this had some great driving scenes in it. I quite enjoyed it. I don't own any of the previous films so I will probably get the boxset eventually, as a guilty pleasure of course
Though I think 2fast is still cut in the UK thanks to those opressive BBFC wazzocks.

Does the Blu Ray cover match the ones in the trilogy that was just released? Does anybody know if the ones in the trilogy have slipcovers over them? because it looks as if this new one will have one....

Universal, unlike Fox and Warners, actually includes extras in addition to the digital copy on their 2-disc releases.

OMG! ENOUGH!!! Enough with these f**ked up complaints about f**king digital copies. Won't it be nice if a movie went directly on your iPod for free?
That was fast
The cover looks like the covers for the new editions of The Mummy movies

Yikes, a pointless roman number "IV" on the spine is just corny. Can't people tell the difference between "The Fast..." to "Fast and Furious"? Come on! its not so hard if we put our brains to work that "The" is the original and "Fast" is the 4th installment. And I agree, whats going on with all that bleeding red?
Black or blue would have been a better color for the case, but oh well....that's why I'm not a cover designer.
The movie itself was a huge disappointment. I'll buy this though to have a complete set.

Day one purchase of the Blu-ray for me! However, I still need to get the box set with the first three movies.

i still can't believe anybody would WANT to watch movies on an ipod. the funny part is that those who might wanna watch it that way, probably already have the program that lets them rip their dvds anyway so they can just do it themselves.

Very fast indeed.
Horrible cover art. I enjoyed this for being a mediocre movie. Easily better than the second one. Just as good as the third and first.

I'll get the franchise pack, since I don't own any on Blu-Ray or HD DVD.
Is the franchise collection, gonna be in Blu Ray?
I HATED this movie. The one shot to bring back the original cast and they still mess it up. Plus it was boring and rather confusing, especially the action scenes. As for digital copies, I dont really use them but its good cause i can send them to my brother and he has all these great movies and i dont have to miss any b/c i still have the original disc. His monitor is big so he just watches on his computer. Its not bad for flying either or waiting at an airport.
That said, the movie is a used car that can occasionally choke to life and burn up the road. Diesel and Walker look jazzed to be beating the s**t out of each other and then making up. Despite past betrayals, these two have a history. Brian still loves Mia (Jordana Brewster), Dom's sister. And Dom pines for Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), even though bad-girl Gisele (Gal Gadot) is panting to get under his hood.
The babes don't stand a chance against the cars. Muscle or import, they're all sex objects (props to the Lamborghini LM002). Director Justin Lin (Tokyo Drift) still hasn't learned film geography. Even the kinetic tunnel races, meant to nitrocharge the movie, fall flat from spatial incoherence. You barely know what's happening, and to whom.
And yet I can see why Fast and Furious might be a smash as audiences look for escape from a broken economy. All those wheelies and power slides are designed to obliterate thought, not provoke it. Talk about a movie for its time

It's an .mpeg file that you can put on your iPod, PSP or Play4Sure.

Despite, the unappealing cover art, this is another film which I will be very pissed about if I don't get on Blu Ray. I consider myself a very excessive person, so you don't want to see me get mad, if I don't get it.

Or you could just do like most people and rip it to your computer and then put it on your iPod. DCs are just a waste of a disc.

Well, if you look at the ad...

This movie was c**p. The opening was decent but that was it. None of the other action scenes were the least bit exciting. We've seen it all before, and better. If you want great car action watch the finale of DEATH PROOF. Now that was exciting! This was an idiotic bore. I remember finding Vin Diesel and his character cool in the original, but Diesel was terrible here and his character didn't ooze cool like he did the first time around. I guess I've just outgrown this series, because I was bored with this.
Might rent this. Didnt bother with it in theaters.

The second ad clearly states on the bottom that the previous 3 films are available on their own, and that an all new franchise collection will also be released. Which I will be picking up.

Thanks for that, I certainly hope the second film's uncut but I’ve read some conflicting info on it.
Yeah I forgot about the fourth film, it did get cut for the cinema. It was a bit choppy that scene, lets hops that its released in its uncut form. Then they can call it the fully charged edition or some other silly name
