artworks not bad. like better than the brown bag
I peed a little.
It's not bad artwork but nothing can compare to the dvd packaging. I'll probably buy this and put it inside of the DVD packaging seeing how this is one of my favorite movies.
Pretty vanilla looking to me, but whatever. It's not like I'm going to refuse to buy it because I don't care for the artwork....
Damn that cover is badass!
Decent cover art. Definite buy, since I skipped the original two-disc and now all you can get is the gimped single-disc.
Day 1 Purchase!
Got to see this on Blu. Wonder if region A & B will be the same.
"First rule about Fight Club. DO NOT TALK about buying Fight Club on Blu-ray."
I already got the two-disc Special Edition, but I gotta have this too. Don't mind double-dipping for this one. Can't wait.....

The cover looks a bit too fruity for my taste. Logo font in light pink color?????????? I don't friggin think so
I still have never seen this...I know, I know...Pick your jaws up off the floor. I am either going to buy this on Day 1 or ake sure I get it via NetFlix that day. And if I don't, I'll request it for Christmas.

I think the pink font is a play on the pink soap logo on the posters.
Anyway, I have the two-disc DVD but I may have to double-dip considering I have read this has new special features. Plus, Fight Club in high def sounds beast.

Same for me

Awesome art. Nice to see something a little more original for once. Epic film.
I'm waiting for the extras to be announced. The movie is my favourite Fincher movie. The 2 disc edition with the paper bag package feel was amazing, much better than this cover. And Region 1 was the way to go. I first picked up the R2 2-Disc set. It was disappointing since it was a standard armray package and had only 1 commentary. I sold that and bought the R1 set, which is just amazing, with the foldout packaging.
If the features are carried over, plus we get a couple of extra features, I will buy it for sure. If it is just a standard catalogue release, I will skip it.

The UK and US releases are the same. I already have the German Steelbook BD, but hopefully Fox UK will send this so I can do a comparison (they have promised it).
i read somewhere that the fox release will have a brand new transfer which will be monitored by david fincher himself. can't wait to watch it.
Shame its region locked I want that cover

You could have read it here cause I announced it ages ago.

No confirmation that it's locked yet, or that we won't get that cover.

I have it aswell Chris, but I'd be interested to read your comparison. I would be gutted if there is a major difference in PQ. I don't know if I could reason buying it again, I don't want to start double dipping on blurays now.

Not sure it'll be a huge difference, but from what I understand the German release is film sourced whereas this should come from a DI. I'm expecting a bit more detail, slightly stronger colours and maybe a slightly cleaner looking film. Will be interesting either way.

Thanks for the info Chris. Lovely picture by the way, I hope it doesn't distract from your thoughtful comments

Jamie Chung is my current fetish. I even sat through Dragonball: Evolution for her.
Box art looks AWESOME.
Prefer the brown package design myself, this cover looks like it belongs in the gay interest category.
