Fighting-fit Fox...More from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment now, with the announcement of some high-kicking DVD double-packs. First up we have the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers pack, which includes both the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. For those that were spared from this particular piece of children’s entertainment, the Power Rangers are a bunch of school kids (played for the most part by actors in their late twenties or early thirties) who each gain super powers when they don some rather garish uniforms. Sporting some of the corniest dialogue the world has ever seen, not to mention dubbing that makes bad porn films look good, the Power Rangers are definitely an acquired taste. Still, millions of kids the world over loved them, so I’m sure someone will want this pack! Both discs come with anamorphic 1.85:1 transfers and Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks, but feature only a trailer as added value.

Next up we have the altogether more trendy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or Hero Turtles if you were forced the sanitised version on UK TV. The giant, mutated reptiles Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo get chop-socky all over again in the sequels to the original hit movie. Imaginatively titled  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, the films see our heroes in the half-shell facing off against their arch-nemesis, and all-round grunting bloke, Shredder. Both films feature anamorphic 1.85:1 transfers and Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtracks, as well as the obligatory trailers.

Both packs are available to buy from the 21st October for the RRP of £19.99 each.
