Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the Film Noir Collection One for the 3rd November. Retail will be around $59.95. The 5-disc package will include The Big Heat, 5 Against The House, The Lineup (1958), The Sniper (1952), and Murder by Contract. Extras will include commentary with Critic Eddie Muller and Author James Ellroy on The Lineup, a commentary on The Sniper with Eddie Muller, and featurettes ("Michael Mann on The Big Heat", "Martin Scorsese on The Big Heat", "Martin Scorsese on Murder by Contract", "Martin Scorsese on The Sniper", "The Influence of Noir with Christopher Nolan").

I have the Big Heat DVD but I am getting this set as these are supposed to all be great noirs

Great set of films.The Big Heat has been available as a stand alone disc but the other four,as far as I can tell,are previously unavailable on DVD.Can't get enough of these films.Thank you Sony!
