I dont know about that DVD cover.
The cover art's hidious, but the features and DTS-ES rule.
ugly cover for a disappointing movie. the music and sound was amazing though
Yup, awful cover. Overall, the film was okay. An average popcorn flick.
YAWN!
I thought the second one was pretty good. I skipped this one at the theatres.
Didn't hold a candle to the joy that was FD2. THAT was a great popcorn flick.
the best one out of the series!
July 25th is too far. I swear New Line and Touchstone always have the longest dates for dvds.

Absolutely loved this film, best of the 3. 1st was s**t, but the 2nd was very good. HORRENDOUS cover art, I'm so disappointed! But I can't wait to pick this up. God knows when the R2 will be announced.
I have never seen "Final Destination", "Final Destination 2" or "Final Destination 3" so I will netflix all of them on DVD. Its nice to see the third film getting such an elaborate release, but that cover is pretty ugly.
Man this movie was a great addition to the series but dang is that cover ridiculous.
Cover reminds me of that famous Paul Ross quote...
Oh God, there are so many funny things in this cover. A. 2-Disc Thrill Ride Edition?! What kind of SE title is that?! B. The guy in the front looks very constipated and weary of his career.
As cheesy as the cover already is they should have pushed it further and made the cover lenticular. The faces could have changed from skin to skulls. Let's go cheesy all the way!!
The cover art just sucks. The other two had some simple, understated covers with the "New Line Platinum Series" banner on top -- this one just emulates the one-sheet art (this is a 2 disc edition and yet the "Platinum Series" banner isn't on it?).
it looks good ... I've seen one and two but never bought them ... its probably good to rent ... I might c the third
Just another case of someone really liking the release poster and conforming everything else to fit into it. I can say I don't like the bottom right corner at all since it draws attention away from the rest of the cover. Couldn't they just crop it and put the quote across the bottom? The twisting writing is pretty much ugh as well. The teaser poster was better and fits a DVD cover much better. This is junk. Maybe a fan will make a custom cover and I can throw this one out.
A little more detail on the 'Choose their Fate' feature:
Quote: The DVD allows viewers to watch the original, theatrical version of the film as presented in theaters, or exercise the “choose-their-fate” option which offers all-new, alternate sequences and dozens of possible viewing combinations

The first one is a genre masterpiece, the second was over-the-top salty goodness, this one was pretty good too but definitely the weakest in the franchise. I still like it enough to pick it up when it comes out. The first 2 were packaged pretty nice with some decent extras as well so that's nice for those that are fans of these movies like me.
I saw this movie on relase day and liked it being a HUGE fan of the first two I will buy this. the cover art is about a 5/10 but calling it the 2 disc thrill ride edition just plain sux!!
I loved FINAL DESTINATION 3! It was a blast! Not quite as great as the second but better than the first. I'm glad it's getting a 2-Disc DVD, but the Widescreen art is ugly. The Fullscreen art is pretty decent though, especially compared to the Widescreen art. But there's no way in hell I'd get Fullscreen. So I'll just be stuck with the ugly cover art. Oh, and if it wasn't obvious, I'm buying it.
C**p cover, but good to see the 6.1 coming through!!!
This hasn't hit Aussie theatres yet....

Honestly, considering this is a New Line Release, I'm surprised that they're not sticking the Platinum Series banner on this. I don't even see the New Line logo on the spine. I think the art would be so much better if they'd make it blue, get rid of the "2-disc Thrill Ride Wide Screen Edition" thingy and add the New Line Platinum Series banner.
what's the betting EIV will screw us over in the uk and most of the extras will be missing..?
I'll probably buy it. As soon as they change the cover.
Why they didn't have the coaster upside-down (ala the poster) is beyond me. At least that was interesting!
Final Destination 2 was a really fun film, although I`d never buy it. Its always good to see the Final Destination films to see the crazy ways in which people get killed off, som I`ll rent this one. I dont expect it to be as good as the second though, and that cover is hideous. FD1 and 2 had pretty sweet covers.
I thought the first one was decent and then it just shot straight downhill after that (this one and the 2nd being horrible). Cover art is bland and boring and why 2-discs? Its not like this movie warranted that many extras.
The first one was great, the best one outta all of 'em. The second one was okay, and the third one was good. The best of the two sequels, in my opinion. Yes, HORRIBLE cover, but that's all it is. A cover. The movie is still awesome, so I don't care about the cover that much. 2 discs sounds cool! That means there'll be plenty of extras.
