Best show never to have been a success.....such a shame. Already have it on standard DVD - no need for that BlueRay garbage.

Are you what they call a Browncoat rebel?
I got Serenety on Dvd when it came out and I enjoyed it very much. I don't think I'd go as far to get this on BD but hopefully the Dvd set of Firefly might get cheaper now.
Off topic...I've been a fan of Nathan Fillion since I seen him in Two guys and a girl. He was funny in Waitress aswell.

Am I really this shallow? This cover art makes this semi-tempting, even though the retail is a bit much. I'll at least contemplate it now. Fantastic series either way, but I certainly do *not* miss the floating heads and muddy brown color scheme of the DVD box.
Love this series...but the standard DVD set suits me just fine...
...for now. If I can get it for a reasonable price later down the road, then I'll invest in this.

Ha, just started re-watching the series recently...for about the 12th time or so. This show is without a doubt my favourite TV series of all time. When I do eventually pick up a Blu-Ray player down the road, this will be a must buy. Not just for the picture and sound but for showing support and maybe, just maybe help in getting Serenity 2 off the ground. (which I know will prob never happen, but a man can hope can't he)
woohoo....this is a definate buy for me. sure i already have the dvd set but i wont feel as bad since its just the one season. i wont be rebuying any of my other multiple season series but this gets a pass cuz i'm weird like that. plus hey you get a new extra and 2 new commentaries so its not a total waste. lol
now if universal were smart, they'd release serenity in blu-ray the same day.
as for the price, amazon already lists it at 62$ and for a canadian, thats cheap for 3 blu-ray discs.

BEST...SHOW...EVER.
Next to Buffy The Vampire Slayer, anyway.
If you've never seen it before, it's worth the blind buy!

I got the entire series on DVD for $14.99. It was... okay.
I certainly would not label this as the "BEST...SHOW...EVER."
Not even top 10. My advice is to pass on it until it's discounted to a price closer to the standard definition set.

Well, I have to admit that I got teary eyed while watching Joss Whedon's introduction on the Serenity DVD, I also believe that Nathan Fillion should be huge.

this was definitely a one-of-a-kind show and deserved another chance. along with serenity, it was a great series/film package. whedon is definitely one of the greats and dollhouse looks promising... enough (for fox).
What's better? This TV series or Serenity......
(i was bored with Serenity.....)

The first episode kind of sucks, but it gets better. Still, I don't like it as much as early Buffy or Angel.
For me, Joss is Boss, and Firefly is his masterpiece. Won't be picking this up because I don't have a Blu-Ray player, but I am a fan of the artwork.
I gots the dvd, and will be double dipping to this... and I hate me some double dipping.
Do not see what is fantastic about the series or this movie.OMG OMG Joss Whedon...*Yawn Geeks need fresh air.

if you didnt like serenity, chances are you wouldnt like the show. the movie was much more "action/sc-fi" heavy compared to the series. dont get me wrong, the show had lots of sci-fi but yeah.

Great! Will definitely pick this up! Now if only Universal will announce a Blu-ray release for Serenity, then I'll be all set!
The greatest TV show ever made......after "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." of course.
I might consider picking this up when it comes down in price. A friend got me interested in the show and from the few episodes I've seen on the Sci-Fi Channel, it's pretty good. Serenity was good fun as well, and I like Fillion as an actor. He was good in Slither.

Well that just goes without saying...

Didn't get round to buying this on DVD so Blu-Ray is the way for me!
Region coding pending - I will be importing this for sure
Muwahahhahhahah you shall be mine on... Novemebr 11th Muwahahhahhahahah.
ahhhhhhh!!! I totally have the regular DVD one and it seems kind of pointless to get this, but I totally am anyways!!!! I love Firefly to death!

Sorry to burst your bubble Mike, but Fox doesn't do multi-region on Blu-ray discs--every disc I've seen, even catalogue titles, has been region A if released here. There still might be a chance, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Oh please.....the words "greatest TV show ever" and "Adventures of Brisco County Jr" do NOT belong in the same sentence. Oops.

Well not all of us feel the same way you do about "The Facts of Life".

Cheap? that is expensive, I just got the 3 disc Termonator, the Sarah Conner Chronicles for $34.99 and Amazon is selling it for $27.99, way over priced for a canceled show.
The standard DVD that is $18 every other month at Target works for me.
Someone tell me why my post are put together in one post when I did them separate?
