It's a unique unit that rescues hostages, busts gangs, defuses bombs, climbs the sides of buildings and talks down suicidal teens. At least the show has Amy Jo Johnson (a.k.a. Kimberly the Pink Ranger from the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" TV show). I might get Flashpoint when it hits Blu-ray.

The TV Programming you get must really suck.
It's a Canadian Police drama that's broadcasted on CTV in Canada and CBS here in America.
It's a good show if you look procedural dramas with self contained plots.

Holy s**t! That is the Pink Power Ranger. This just gave me a brain spasm. I have never heard of this too. Must be on the same night as Anthony Bourdain or something.
It was on Friday Nights on CBS, but is switching timeslots when it returns because Medium is taking it's place.
I enjoy this show but wouldn't buy it. All those procedural dramas are all good but meh is all I feel for buying them on DVD. I'm happy to know I'll know someone who will buy this and I can borrow it from them though! (Now only if they would buy 'Magnum PI' so I don't have to buy it.
Oh and being Canadian I am always rooting for Canadian shows but wow they seem to be playing it too safe but I guess if we ever did a show like 'Pushing Daisies' for instance and if it bombed the whole industry would collapse! Okay maybe that is stretching it.

Did it survive to another season?
Returning midseason on CBS I believe.

It's returning in early 2010 as a midseason replacement.

Sorry, didn't mean to be redundant. I just assumed that some of the posters here aren't sure when "Midseason" which could be anywhere from December to March.

That is why I avoided it. If it is from Canada, it is c**p.
