Warner is really not going to get people to switch to Blu-Ray by withoding extras. I will be picking the DVD up, though because I want to see the movie.

Wow, at a quick glance, Vince Vaughn looks like Christopher Walken...
Enough with the jipped DVD releases. This is not a necessity for Blu-Ray, DVD owners should not be shunned out of special features. You're just wasting disk space. And who watches full screen anymore. Horrible release.

I'll netflix it. I agree with you DrewPLP. I think they should just stop with this Widescreen/Full Screen on one format.
I cannot believe they still release 4:3 transfer in North America, especially when the rest of the world stopped it years and years ago.
One of the worsts of 2008
Forgot about this one. Was decent.
Yuck this movie was stupid, it wasn't even about Christmas, just centered around it. Huge letdown IMO.
Why such a huge empty space of white by the right side? Why not center the actors, remove that 'long ass' quote and increase the film's title a tad bit more? Now this cover, really really calls for a Revised version!!
MY EYES! Is it a new tradition that every Vince Vaughn Christmas movies has to be released on DVD one entire year, after everyone has forgotten about it, after its initial release? Fred Claus, and then this! So much of a skip for me.
I'll Netflix this because it looked pretty funny and entertaining by the advertisements. I decided to pass on the opportunity last year when it made its theatrical debut, due to the negativity. I'm pretty sure it's not that bad. I'm also glad they retained the theatrical artwork. I am still annoyed that WB is excluding any extras on the DVD and putting a plethora of extras on the BD. I'm a BD collector, but still this is just tiresome and irritating.
Decent movie. Didn't love it, but certainly didn't hate it either. Had a good story. Will most likely pick it up when it hits the 'previously viewed' shelves after the holidays.
I really didnt like this one, i usually do like vince vaughn SOME times but he was just trying too hard in this one and it got VERY old. Sometimes his schtick can get tiresome. Talking that fast like that just wears me out after a while. I do want to see the upcoming couples retreat though. Vaughn needs to be a costar. He works best when he doesnt try to hog all the laughs
I'm so buying this
Saw it in the theater 5 times

Any movie you forget about cannot be a decent film.

...was thinking the same thing. But I suppose we shouldn't let a little thing like contradiction get in the way of a personal opinion, eh?

I actually really loved this movie, despite my hatred for Vince Vaughn. I, too, forgot about it, but I'm definetely picking this one up.
EDIT #1: Play.com lists the UK release as coming in 1 day earlier, on the 23rd November.
EDIT #2: According to DVDAf.com, the Blu-ray also comes with a Digital Copy. Big surprise.

I think when people say they forgot about it means its been about a year for it to come out, therefore its easy to forget, but people forget about movies all the time and that doesnt mean they dont like them. Some things just slip peoples minds. I forget about older songs but when sattelite radio plays them i remember and love them all over again.

It seemed like that at first. Though I think they will start too because with like Dance Flick, they are releasing Blu-Ray first than the Dvd six weeks later. Though I dont think many give a f**k about Dance Flick.

Also, I swear I've seen another movie with a similar DVD cover.
......meh.
I'm sure this is going to suck. It looked really unfunny. Yet, I'm still going to give it a watch anyway.
I can't wait until the rest of the world switches to Blu-Ray. then we can finally get rid of fullscreen. Believe it or not there are people out there (like my retarded filmmaking professor) who PREFER fullscreen. Such blasphemy makes me want to slap these people across the face and ban them from movies entirely.
Finally!
First day buy.
First day buy.
One day Vince will play a different character......
Maybe when the earth freezes over....
