That cover is a liar. It says it's uncut yet clearly it's been cut.

No, it's the European version which is the Uncut version you guys in the states have been deprived of for so long.

I'm pretty sure that Jeremy S was making a joke. I laughed and thought it was funny.

You're an idiot, a complete moron! Not only does Jason NOT become the villain until part two, the hockey mask doesn't appear until 3/4 into the third film! Imbecile!
Easy, sir... Although I can understand (and can somewhat condone) where your vitriol comes from, it just looks bad on the printed page, you know?
Regardless, as the art seems to be using the silhouettes of the film posters, my guess is that there will be no hockey mask until maybe Part IV. However, the existing DVD uses the poster art already. The existing DVDs of V - VIII have really terrible artwork, and I hope they do something along these lines of the artwork of these DVDs if they continue to rerelease these movies. And give us an UNCUT "The New Blood", the way John Carl Buechler wanted us to see it, eh?

Will buy the first on blu.
The UK DVDs been uncut for years, Im pleased the US are finally getting it too.
Great covers, that capture the feel of the original poster art perfectly. If you want the original poster go get the old release. I can't wait for these releases.
MILKING!!1 what a waste

Um... yes and no. I understand that any special features for these movies are not exactly in abundance, but they could at least have ported some of them over (such as the Part 3 commentary) from the previous release.
Also, where are Part 2 & 3 on Blu-ray??
If you wanna hear the commentary, watch the Part 3 in the boxset. And yes, I want the Blu-rays for Part 2 and 3 as well.

Whatever. I like it. Haha, I'm buying!
I just might buy 3 just to finally see it in 3-D. Now lets see some 3-D releases of other flicks from that brief 3-D rennaiscance, like Parasite, Jaws 3D, Metalstorm, Spacehunter... Bring it on!

Question, why is Part 3 listed as a deluxe edition when the only extra listed are trailers?
Yeah I know what you mean. Probably because since this is the 3-D version that includes the anaglyph (red/blue) glasses and since the others were 2-D, that's my only guess.

Wow.....such hostility. LOL......actually, if you wanna get technical Eugene, Jason was in Part 1 as well...albeit at the very end.
F**k these releases! If they aint gonna make em uncut or put some gore back in which was cut out. I´m f**king sick of waiting all those years for the uncut material. I want clear answers why the part 2 and 3 shouldn´t be uncut. This will still be and always be C**PPY! editions to me if they are rated! 3d my bloody ass and the covers too, i want the original death scenes. F**king S**t. A fan like me will never be pleased till i get them uncut in a needle straight in the arm. I hope to god that someone working at these releases reads this.
I already have the box set and I'm happy with it.
Though I'm tempted to get Part 3 for the 3D version. I'll wait for a review to see what was added to Part 1 to see if that's worth owning two copies of.

Awesome Artwork. I'll Buy All 3, About 10 Copies Of Each
My new TV is 3D Ready.
Thus, I'll b***h continuously until I get Pt. 3 in BluRay.

So, itd be a good deal to buy these if *prays* they are $15 each. I could just rebuy all the movies & sell the pre-packaged set on eBay.
I don't see these being over $17 do you?
Thanks man,
Zachariah
The first one is already on some shopping sites and lists for around $12 for the DVD and $20 for the BluRay
Which shopping sites? I've checked AMazon, best buy, circuit city but couldnt find any prices.

Sorry, with all the sarcasm around on the internet, I honestly can't tell if you're joking or not...
And as for Frilsh, is there a reason she's still around?
I managed to sit through the first film. Not sure how though, it was really quite lame. I was expecting a lot more given its reputation. Halloween was much better, still haven't seen Nightmare on Elm Street though, so can't compare it there.

It's Commonly Called "Nightmare On Elm Street", The "A" Doesn't Add Or Take Anything Away From The Title. It Means The Exact Same Thing. And, Yes, Halloween Beats Friday The 13th In Every Single Aspect.
