That is what I want to know.
Love this show. Will definitely be picking this up. John Noble and Joshua Jackson have an amazing repetoir onscreen. Also, Anna Torv really grows into her role as the season progressed.
I'm surprised there are 2 different covers.

I love this show and I love the cover. However, I love the one with the faces more than the frog...
It'd be interesting if they included the original version of the pilot on the set.
The 2 covers are there because the set will come with a special lenticular slipcover, which I'm guessing will be the symbols. Anyways, never got to watch this show but it looked awesome and lots of people have told me how great it is, so I'm definitely going to blind buy and hopefully get caught up for the 2nd season.
Ah, I LOVE the second cover with the spooky blue frog and whatnot. Very cool that we get both of them.
I really got into this show, but then Channel 9 decided to skip it and throw it on late at night at about midnight and then change weeknights at random. Thank god for DVD's then as this looks fantastic and will settle my wifes undying craving for Joshua Jackson (damn you Joshua Jackson!)
The faces & symbols are the same cover, it's lenticular (both DVD & Blu-ray).
This may give you an idea:

Also, I wouldn't recommend blind buying this as Fringe is the dullest show on television. You may not make it past the first 6 episodes (and nobody would blame you).

Fanastic show!
Too bad you couldn't give it a chance. I agree that the show had a few bumps in the first part of the season, and had a few bland episodes, but it seriously took off later and has become one of my favorite shows as of lately.
I watched the first 8 episodes and it was mostly boring as hell. Not to mention the dialogue which was FILLED with cheese and cliches.
This show is stranger than Lost. I couldn't get into it at all.
I semi-enjoyed it and then it went on hiatus for a month or two. Never got back into it.
My favourite new show last season. I look forward to getting this and I can't wait to sit down and watch it in a marathon so I can watch it without Fox's bumping it for a month or so.

In what sense is LOST strange?

You never know what is completely going on. I am hooked on Lost.

Rapport, not repertoire, Don.
September 8th? Why so late in the year? Why not a July or August release during the summer so everyone can catch up and prepare for the second season. A bit of a wait, good thing there's other TV DVDs out in June-August period

LOVE this show. This will definitely make a suitable replacement when LOST kicks the bucket in a year. And I wonder to what extent Leonard Nemoy will be involved in the show next season. If he's a regular, that'll be pretty damn phenomenal.
The cliffhanger ending was phenomenal.
Literally my jaw hit the flaw
