Quote: “Most exciting drama around right now. Unfailingly amazing cast and dialogue.” - Rob Sheffield, ROLLING STONE Return to explore the boundaries of a mysterious mythology that holds millions of viewers in its hypnotic grasp. Season 2 of Fringe contains worlds (and alternative worlds) of excitement complete with shape shifters, cryonic heads, belly-dwelling beasts and people who turn to ashes before our eyes. But the overarching narrative takes three clandestine FBI agents – Olivia Dunham, Peter Bishop and Walter Bishop – through a mind-bending investigation of a parallel reality that threatens to destroy ours. The impossible is here in a series that offers “the most satisfying, coherent story arc of any science-fiction-flavored primetime drama” (Mike Hale, The New York Times).

I need to give this a second chance, based on what I've heard about the second season.

MASSIVE improvement on the mediocre S1, with an amazing finale that had me begging for more.
September!!?? I can't wait that long...
I liked this season even though I saw the cliffhanger twist in the finale a mile away.
Love this show. The second season is amazing. I'll have to save up and pick this up when it hits the street.
Agree with all the positive things said so far. Everyone should really give this show a chance. Starting with the end of season 1, this show got really good. Definitely the best drama on network TV right now.
Best show on TV now that LOST is no more
From what I've heard of the second season I may consider giving this series a second try. I gave up after five or six episodes of season one booooored me to death.

Fantastic season. Leonard Nimoy was a cool recurring character and reports are this was his final acting performance as well. I really enjoyed the alternate universe story arc.
FYI, there is 1 episode in this season that is actually a leftover from season 1 (It's standalone plot-wise), but you will see a continuity error if you are watching this episodes in order on the DVD or BR (If you haven't seen this season yet)

This show is quite good! The series started off slow, and a bit weak, but those who gave it a chance were well rewarded towards the end of season 1. This season got off to a much better start.
Looking forward to season 3!
