Quote: Jonah Hill and Russell Brand reunite in a raunchy, raucous comedy from the writer and director of the smash hit comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Aspiring record company exec Aaron Green (Hill) has the brilliant idea of rejuvenating the career of fading British rock star Aldous Snow (Brand) with a comeback concert at the world-renowned Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Dispatched by his boss (Sean Combs) to transport the notoriously dissolute Snow from London to L.A., Aaron has just 72 hours to wrangle the out-of-control rocker across the Atlantic. The seemingly simple assignment devolves into a thicket of groupies and parties, as Snow does his anarchic best to undermine his handler at every turn and Aaron does whatever it takes to keep his unruly charge on track.

I must admit I don't find him funny either - he had a short lived show on Aussie TV and it failed to impress

This will be watched on cable.
Another complete failure from Universal. Russel Brand is NOT funny. He's the reason that there is one Adam Sandler movie I can't watch.

I actually met both actors, they weren't really "people persons."

Missed it in the theaters, Ill Netflix it.
This movie sucked. Togeather with year One it's the worst Apatow production.
No charm. Not many funny bits. No good characters.

Saw it twice in theaters.
Towards the end, it becomes a bit melodramatic, but it's largely a very funny film, with the Vegas section being absolute comic brilliance.
Surprisingly, Diddy was hilarious, clearly channeling Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder (aside from the fat suit.)

everyone i know who saw it thought it was hilarious.
This movie was hilarious; I saw it twice in theaters and laughed hysterically both times. Can't wait to see the unrated version.
This one was better than I expected. I didn't have high hopes though. So far this year Hot Tub Time Machine has been the funniest for me. This was still pretty good.
Saw this one and reviewed it for my movie blog. As a musician, I really loved it. As a moviegoer, I laughed my a$$ off. Thought it was a great way to kick off the summer season.
(And for all you Farrell haters like me, "The Other Guys" is absolutely funny as hell. He surprised me in this movie by not being his usual dumb-as-rocks self.)

Not as good as knocked up, superbad, 40 year old and all those, but it did have some laughs. A rental but i wouldnt blind buy it and i personally wouldnt buy it period. There are far better recent comdies out there.
Oh s**t. I never saw this. Looked really funny. Might blind-buy.
The "two movies" label on it is funny. I never saw this. I wasn't too keen on a spinoff of Sarah Marshall, or any new movie with Jonah Hill for that matter.
No Universal, it doesn't contain TWO movies, just two cuts of the same tedious b*****ks.
Will buy same day. A worthy addition to the library.
glad they kept the poster art, i'll be picking up the blu ray first day
Loved the movie. I like the Blu-Ray cover art. will be buying.
Did enjoy this but I don't think it is something I'd revisit much.
This was quite a funny flick, I'll definitely pick it up. Most likely the 2-disc DVD. Not sure this will really benefit from a BD purchase, unless it's really cheap.
