Lionsgate has announced the next wave of Ghost House Underground titles. DVD and Blu-ray releases of Seventh Moon, The Thaw, Offspring, and The Children will each be available to own from the 6th October. The Seventh Moon will include a commentary with director Eduardo Sanchez and actress Amy Smart, and 3 featurettes ("Ghosts of Hong Kong: The Making of Seventh Moon", "The Pale Figures", "Mysteries of the Seventh Lunar Month"). The Thaw will include 1 behind the scenes featurette. Offspring will include a commentary with writer Jack Ketchum, director Andrew Van Den Houten and producer William M. Miller, a Progeny: The Birth of Offspring featurette, webisodes, a photo gallery, and a printable script. The Children will include deleted scenes, and 6 featurettes ("The Making of The Children", "Shooting on Location", "Paul Hyett Talks Prosthetics", "Snow Set Design", "Inside Tom Shankland’s On Set Lair", "Working with The Children"). With the exception of The Children (which could turn out to be half decent) these movies look pretty awful.

I don't know, I was actually pleasantly surprised with last year's set so I am more then willing to give these titles a shot.
I actually have one of the Wave I titles, "Dance of the Dead". It's a pretty decent movie. I'm waiting for the prices to go down on the Wave I titles to complete the collection. As for these Wave II titles, I'll have to reserve judgment until I look at previews or something.
The Substitute was the only real quality film out of last year's mess.
"Room 205" is my favorite one, is really scary
the plot of Seventh Moon seemed interesting.
...i think "Seventh Moon" will be one of the best films of this 4 releases, i trust in Eduardo Sanchez because "Blair Witch"(one of the best horror films of the all times) and "Altered" is the best proof of his magnificent work. I want to own all of them in blu ray

Hopefully, these are better than the first go around for GH Underground, which released a bunch of mediocre horror films. In fact, these sort of multi-film releases usually don't produce much quality as also evidenced by the AfterDark Horrorfest films over the years.
Still, I'll have to check out Seventh Moon for Amy Smart, The Thaw because it has the best cast, The Children because the plot is creepy, and Offspring because it's based on a Jack Ketchum novel and he's a good horror novelist.

I loved "The Children" its one of the most effective killer children I've see in recent years along with Eden Lake, the others don't say much to me but will probably check them out. 
"The Children" got quite a bit of favorable reviews from critics over in the U.K. where it was released theatrically.
Seventh moon looks a little cheesy. Though I wanna see The Thaw.

I hope that I wind up getting all of these. I'm excited for The Thaw and The Children.
I purchased The Children on Blu-Ray from the UK a few months ago. It's officially one of my top 20 favorite horror films of all time.
Do not listen to the naysayers. The film is kind of a slow burn, with stark, beautiful winter photography and spacey ambient score. It actually requires an attention span and appreciation of quality filmmaking.
I'm still amazed at how the driector was able to get the performance from the youngest child. That kid was pretty amazing.

The Thaw looks good, and The Children looks minorly interesting. The rest look awful.
