So when he attends his brother’s wedding he has a single goal: score with the only bridesmaid he somehow missed. But the ghost of his departed Uncle Wayne –who taught him to love ’em and leave ’em – has another goal in mind: restore Connor’s lost faith in true love, a tough assignment requiring the services of many, many Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner and Michael Douglas and director Mark Waters (Mean Girls, Just Like Heaven) uncork a romantic romp as bubbly as wedding-toast champagne. It’s the perfect comedy for anyone who believes in laughs and love. Or needs to.

Wow 3 featurettes thats the best exclusives they could do for Blu-ray. Yeah that's really gonna make people switch. I do care about special features and all that but not enough to change formats when I cannot financially do so
Personally I think it's rather stupid of some studios to be dropping the special features on standard dvd and only offering them of the Blu-Ray.
DVD is still owned by the vast majority of consumers compared to Blu-Ray and to screw dvd owners of the features isn't going to force them to switch. All it's going to really to is get people mad and not buy the standard dvd. Overall it's just going to hurt them financially more than they think.

I agree, while i have a blu ray player it is dumb to make dvds featureless. Its just kinda silly really. As for the movie it was decent, somewhat better than i expected, but still wouldn't buy
Horrible cover art and "WIDESCREEN AND FULL SCREEN EDITION" for the 3 people that prefer full screen?
There are still idiots who prefer full screen and they'll never buy HDTVs if widescreen doesn't become the only format available for whatever movie they want to watch. My best friend's parents are this way. I FINALLY got them to understand that widescreen is better than full screen, but they now say that even if they are losing part of the film it's better than having to deal with huge black bars on their 4:3 set. I told them if they got a 16:9 TV than the bars would be really small or for some films, non existent, because the movie can be wider, rather than smaller. BUt with Full Screen DVD coming out still, no motivation for them to switch. You need older people to want to upgrade. My great uncle is in his 70's and after years of studying magazines to understand the material, he bought an HDTV and DVD player. he can work them better than my own dad can work ours (although at least Dad appreciates HD and widescreen he taught me!)
How are people expected to get into Blu-ray when people still love Full-Screen...we should have been past this years ago. I think Blu-ray would be further ahead then it is if people would've adopted widescreen quicker. If people dont like widescreen the switch to Blu-ray is nearly impossible.
This movie looked terrible. Wont even bother renting.
Stop complaining about DVD artwork! Sometimes the theatrical artwork only works on the 27" x 40" one-sheet but not on a small DVD cover.
The movie was surprisingly well written but it should have been released theatrically around Christmas time since it's a modern day remake of "A Christmas Carol." Michael Douglas stole the movie for me.
Dustin P, some people buy Full Screen because they have small TV's and Widescreen movies make the movie unwatchable because of the aspect ratio.

oh I know, I wasnt saying people shouldnt like full-screen They can like what they like. I was just talking about the studios pushing Blu-ray on people when some haven't even gotten into liking widescreen yet. People won't make the transition to Blu-ray if they cannot tolerate widescreen. Whether its because of a small tv or because it bothers them.

I thought this was actually a cute movie. However, the release date sucked being that this was set during X-Mas and Winter and it was a Spring release.
New Line and WB suck for lowballing their DVD releases in favor of Blu Ray.

I think my little sister wants to see it, but I don't. I'm going to pass by a whole lot.
Seriously, other than Tropic Thunder, when was the last time Matthew McConaughey was in anything remotely relevant? U-571 was solid, but even that was nearly a decade ago. What happened to great roles like those in Contact, A Time to Kill and Amistad??...Ironic, actually, that his role in Tropic Thunder was that of an agent because I think that's exactly what he needs: a new one!
BOOOOORRRRRRRINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!! I never thought I will say this after watching "Beverly Hills Chihuahua," but I hate DVDs with both Widescreen and Full Screen Formats.
McConaughey ruined the artwork.
Gawd.....avoided this like the plauge as the 'romantic comedy stuff' that Matthew is doing is so boring...
Ehhh, Matthew Mcconaughey. Not so sure bout that.
