WOW!! Love this cover...Hmmm... might get this release just because of it, if the specs are the same...Superior art! And no silly "sapphire Series" edition either.
I'd rather have the ratings symbol than the "Sapphire Series" banner.

"Maximus! Slayer of Men, Impaler of 15 Certificates".
Triple dip for me, i love this film! Best coverart i've seen for it yet.
So much better than the US cover art! Im defintly buying this again for all the cool new features! Thought i wouldnt say its the best cover art - That one goes for the Gladiator 3 disc Extended edition, you know with the Gladiatior head?
Yeah, i wasn't really a fan of that artwork, i much preferred the R1 Extended Edition art.

^ That's my favourite Gladiator poster, & i guess this new artwork is about as close as we're gonna get to it.

Does anyone know if the special features - including the whopping 200mins documentary - are in HD?

I doubt it...
I doubt it...
I'd be surprised if they're not all HD. Why put it on 2 BDs otherwise?
hmmm...one a the few I may double dip for to get a BD of this.....especially as it has the extended version which I have not seen
Humm, as much as I like steelbooks I much prefer the cover of the standard edition.
I am liking the steelbook case.
I like the steelcase too.
Maximus: What we do in life echoes in eternity.
I love that line.

Cripes - a great steel book but why do they have to have that stupid blue bar at the top??? We get it! It's a Blu-Ray!....
Jees....
Jees....
Not at all keen on the Steelbook cover. Regular is nice, though.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Steeeeeellllboooookkkk gaaaaghhhhhhhhhh!
That steelbook art is Pan Fried Sex.
It's actually a better T2 steelbook than T2.

I like both to be honest. Haven't seen any of the Gladiator releases so far with bad artwork. Will pick up the steelbook. Just nice to have both cuts in one package, HD plus all the extras on both versions.

Me too. It's ugly. I'll still get it though, what with the pound still being so weak, knocking out the USA BD.
