Screw these half season sets. I spent less than $40 on the complete season one. I'll wait for that. I do like this cover art though.

Consider yourself lucky for not having watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show abomination of an episode. Or "Never Been Kissed". It was also an awful one. The thing is that the writers are now convinced they can get away with anything (sloppy writing, too much focus on Kurt) as long as they sparkle "Glee" dust in the form of a Sue threat, a Brittany non-sequitur or an elaborate music number. The Christmas episode was emblematic: a string of pieces lifted from classic Christmas specials lazily assembled that results in something less convincing as a take on the Christmas spirit than Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" on human nature.

When the freshest point in a half-season involves a guest starring performance by Gwyneth Paltrow, you know that there's something wrong with the rest.
