What are these awful bluray slipons by Universal now a trend? I didn't mind Inglourious's Red, I thought it was alright but this is awful. I didn't mind the Universal logo on the bottom with High Def Experience written. This is just showing how annoying Universal wants to be with their c**ppy boxart and c**ppy generic menus. Lack of creativity.

i am surprised they used the theatrical artwork after the poor box office. i dug the movie though.
I dont like movies like this, i am mostly bored by them BUT i will give it a shot. This is the kind of movie i rent or wait for cable.
I liked this one. I dont really think the blu banner fits this title like it did with Wolfman.
: We've attached some early sales artwork below - although the retail artwork will differ.
I gotta admit, I kind of hate BD-Live. Who has time for this nonsense? It's extremely annoying to have to wait a few minutes through a loading process just to watch a film (not to mention the unskippable FBI warnings, legal mess, etc).
was this movie any good?
I liked the movie- good filler until the next Bourne movie
If Universal is doing digital copies, will Paramount still be doing more digital copies?
I haven't heard much about this film, so it's tough for me to say. Might wait till its on cable or something.

This was a pretty good action thriller. Although it's very political and 100% Anti-George Bush.
If you get motion sickness be warned, the camera movements on this film are very jerky, especially during the war/action scenes.

so unbelievably plain and dull. I could barely pay any attention at all to this.

Matt Damon has sure made a lot of bad movies in his carrer but...this is one of them.
The Informant was not very good either
Might Netflix it if I'm in the mood.
Not a fan of the blu case.
Does anyone know why Amazon is listing Green Zone to be released on June 22? Which is the correct date?
False advertising. The cover art is still and in focus. Loll.
This came off too much like Bourne goes green to me. I may give it a peek, but really would rather see Damon do something way different. I loved him in the Informant and he was good in Invictus.

I caught this at the dollar theater the other day and enjoyed it. If you liked The Kingdom, I think you'd like this.

Maybe they should just get rid of the stupid blue banner on the BD....
Blah.
For what is already a pretty lazily plotted action movie, the film contains way too much heavy handedness, and it's final third reaches a pretty high level of preachiness.
I'm liberal and as against the Iraq War as the next guy, but if you're gonna make a basic action movie, make that, if you want to make an Iraq War movie, make that. The problem is that a subject as dense as the Iraq War does not fit well with an $100 million thriller/chase movie. Plus, the film doesn't know about subtlety. They completely spoonfeed the issue to us in MANY instances, when most can already tell what's going on.
It's villains are ridiculously one dimensional (the evils of real people do not excuse lazy scriptwriting), and Damon is a basic action hero, just a dirtier looking version of Jason Bourne.
This movie is very similar to The Kingdom, and with that film's flaws, the reason why this film flopped is pretty obvious.
