Boxset?
Where?
Where?
F**k Citizen Kane. That movie is an abortion next to these masterpieces of subtle nuanced performances and the craft which we call acting. Bogie... Pacino... Jimmy Stewart: You're all punks.
To quote Seagal from the first one:
"I'm crazy, all right....cuckoo crazy!"
"I'm crazy, all right....cuckoo crazy!"
Seagal: "SO, are we all right?"
Ja Rule: "NO..... we AIGHT"
CUT TO END CREDITS..... sorry for ruining the ending for those who havent seen this masterpiece

Steven Seagal do us all a favor and STOP.
If I ever wanna lose a friend, I guess I can put my money on the delightful boxset.
man y'all suckers just be player hating. this movie was awesome, the best I've seen in a very long time
word up man, word up.
Dont have any idea what it means but it fits the first movie. I couldnt watch it and keep a non laugh out loud face. As soon as Segal stopped doing his own fights (any movie where the camera only shows the hands, you can tell) thats when I thought he shouldnt even bother. Any film of his where the hands only are shown and say made in Prague or some eastern european country should be avoided.
After saying that im still hoping for Under Siege 3. A made in USA, done own stunts, not DTV version though.

They made a sequel??? Wow! Wonders wll never cease...yawn...
Since there are two"halfs" they should call "the completely dead boxset"...
"Half Past Dead" will always be remembered as the film that killed Steven Seagal's career.
I think the producers of the movie sat and thought "OK - who's WORSE than Steve for the sequel?" Thought about it for a few seconds and the word "Goldberg" came up.

"Exit Wounds" was able to revive it and was his first successful film in ages. "Half Past Dead" bombed badly and everything else Seagal did was sent straight to video, so it technically did kill his career.

It only bombed cos the film company released it on the same day as a Harry Potter movie (2nd i think). The fact it even opened with $6 million is a wonder when Potter was so hot then.

Glimmer Man was his first major disapointment for me, After The Patriot I gave up thinking he'd return to form. I've caught most of his DTV movies though, I don't expect anything from them and they deliver nothing. Belly of the Beast may have stuck out, though thats not really a recommendation
I only like two Seagal movies: "Exit Wounds" and "Fire Down Below". The rest, no thank you.
