If it is not released now then look for the double dip in the future...

I didn't want to like the first one, but I really did. (which I've said before) Just thought it should have been called Michael Myers, as it was more about him, than the original.
Will wait to pick it up used before seeing it (as I do with almost everything I buy now), as I liked the first that much, I'll do the blind buy.

Even worse than Assault on Precint 13, Psycho AND The Fog remake. Quite an achievement.
If this piece f c**p already has a release date, then when will Zombieland be out cause that's the "horror" movie I'm waiting for.
I LOVE THE BLU-RAY COVER
It's cool.
Rob Zombie's H2 was definitely one the superior horror films to come out this year, along with Orphan.
If you are looking for something dark, twisted, character-driven, and original then give H2 a chance...otherwise go watch some watered-down c**p like Final Destination 3D with all the other brain-dead teeny-boppers!!!

Am I reading that right; 33 million at the box office? Really, they are proud of that??
The theatrical and unrated cuts aren't included on the BD? That disappoints me a little. Also, what about the 8 hour documentary Zombie promised? I'm not going to get this release until Sony releases a BD version with both cuts included and the 8 hour documentary. I smell a double dip in the future. The artwork looks kick-butt! The film was good, pretty dark and twisted, but could not get past the awful acting.

I would not do that for these reasons:
A: There will be a double-dip in the future for H2 because Zombie said there'd be an 8 hour documentary, which is missing, which only means one thing: DOUBLE DIP
B: If you liked the first one, you are going to HATE H2. They are completely different. For an example, everyone that thought H2 sucked, liked Zombie's Halloween. Everyone, as I, that liked H2, DID NOT like Zombie's Halloween.

when we get back artwork for the blu-ray it should confirm whether or not the theatrical version is included i am amazed there is no mention of the theatrical version incleded on the blu-ray a simple yes or no will do
Apparently the Halloween remakes never stood any chance with certain people. I guess some people just want to see the same exact movie, with the same exact scenes, motivations, set pieces and plot. Oddly enough, if you wanted the movie to be the same as the original franchise, then why wouldn't you just watch the original franchise? I applaud Zombie for trying to do something different, especially with this 2nd film, as he didn't follow the same Halloween routine and certainly made it his own creation and not a poorly recycled retread that this franchise has seen over and over. Also the concept of someone indicating this sequel is somehow worse than Halloween 8 is utterly unbelievable. The cinematography alone in this film tears that dull, lame, same old routine (not to mention poorly shot) 8th film to death.
This movie sucked. The original "H2" was a lot better & Carpenter's original "Halloween" is still the top slasher film. Next to "Psycho" that is.

I was willing to give Zombie a chance with the remake of "Halloween" (and its sequel, unfortunately), but he ultimately stripped everything good of the original franchise and spat on it. I respect that some people like them, but Zombie took the wrong approach and kept to it.
His "Halloween" movies make me sick. At least with the 2003 "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake, they didn't keep to the original screenplay often and made significant changes. However, those changes weren't in the wrong direction and it was an enjoyable movie on its own.

Wasnt a fan of this one. Liked the first. MIGHT rent for Directors Cut and the long commentary.
Unrated Director's Cut all the way because I want to know if the DC will be better

Some of us, myself included, didn't need to see this remade at all. Some of us think that Zombie is just remaking the same movie over and over. Let's see:
Trailer-trash family? Check.
Incessant amounts of profanity? Check.
Shocking, pointless violence? Check.
Personally, he hit a high point with "The Devil's Rejects". But these "reimaginings" are just a new low and are completely unnecessary, except to fulfill his wish to "update" a classic horror movie by pushing the limits of decency and good taste. Just my opinion.

Someone actually likes her? She is such a horrid "actress."
Anyway, I hate Rob Zombie's movies. They suck. I love horror movies, but he's a hack and I can't stand all of the white trash characters and awful dialogue. I wish the creators of INSIDE would have done H2 like planned. Thankfully they are at least going with soemone new for the next installment. This being said, out of morbid curiosity I will rent this one. I'm sure I'll despise it like his other "films" but can't help myself.

I didn't have much of a problem with them remaking HALLOWEEN. It's the actual POS that was made that I have a problem with. I expected it to be bad after HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, and I was right. I loved the TCM remake. I thought they did a great job. The cinematography was fantastic and they created characters I actually cared about. Had Rob Zombie directed it, it would have been trash. He's not capable of making a good movie.

Woooow, the dvd cover is... Okay... But I kind of wanted it to be different.
Didn't see it in theaters so seeing the director's cut will be good.

Personally, I despise Zombie's films--but that's not my problem. I'm fine with the fact that you like him. I'm not fine with the lack of maturity and the fact that you never back up your claims.

Llama - don't bait the troll. King has been warned.
Take a look at the press release - Who in the hell is SCOTT Taylor-Compton. Is that Scout's evil twin brother who is a terrible actor. That's terrible when they can't even proof read the release!??!?!
Can't wait to own this movie on DVD
These comments make me laugh my a$$ off. All this junk about Zombie being amazing, and H2 being a character-driven, original movie? Lol this, as well as all of Zombie's stuff, is trash. They're terribly made in every way possible.
If you like the remakes more than the originals of this franchise, you are an idiot.
I found the Devils Rejects actually quite good.... House of 1000 corpses was a bit howdy doody...

That better be false
