Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemorts defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, Harry discovers an old book marked mysteriously "This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince" and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort's dark past.

I would've preferred the teaser poster, but the 2-disc cover is OK. At least the whole title is on there, unlike in most of the promo artwork where it's hidden behind the characters and cut off by the sides.

Blu-Ray/DVD Combo eh? Very interesting indeed. Was one of the things that got me into HD-DVD was buying the combos and deciding to give it a go.
I wonder if Target will have a letch cover like for Year 4 and 5
I liked this one. More character driven than the earlier installments have been, which was a snoozefest for some people but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
One of my favourite installments in the series, i hope they include the Imax scenes on the Blu-Ray Disc, the opening scene was amazing.
Absolutely beautiful covers. I hope they retain the same artwork of the 2-disc for the Blu-ray. I love the routine of the 3-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo packages. You can have a copy of the Blu-ray, and if a friend doesn't have this yet, there's a DVD copy. Chamber of secrets is still my favorite Potter film, but Half-Blood prince is right behind. Sadly, I might not be buying. I loved the film, but I don't buy Blu-rays constantly.
Dumbledore is trying to feel Hermoine up, and look where his wand is pointing...
This is the best poster : http://movienosh.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/of...

it comes out on my bday! =) nice! will buy 4 sure
WTF, if HP can get a 2-disk DVD, then why not Terminator? So, I guess The Hangover will get the sucky DVD & the 2-disk Blu-Ray
Very nice! I'm not too fond of the 2-Disc art but I absolutely adore the DVD/Blu-Ray combo. This movie was my favorite of the series so I'll definitely be picking this one up.
The documentary "A Day in the Life of J.K. Rowling" is supposed to be included on the 2-disc DVD, as well as deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes look at the movie, and a sneak peek at the upcoming theme park. I don't know why they're not saving the documentary for the final 2-part movie, since that deals with J.K.R. writing the final book.
I like the artwork for the single-disc and the 2-disc. I'd almost bet money ALL the features will be on the first disc, per the usual from Warner's Digital Copy Editions.

wow, 2 disc means nothing here, one is just a digital copy, that sucks, loved this one though.
yeah the 3 disc combo Blu ray is c**p.
1 disc is bluray. 2 disc is digital copy. 3 disc is DVD
WHERE THE HELL WILL THE EXTRA MATERIAL BE???

Terminator: Salvation underperformed at the box-office ($125 million), while Harry Potter and Hangover grossed over $270 million apiece. I expect Warners to announce a 2-disc DVD and Blu-ray any day now for Hangover -- that way exceeded Warners' expectations.

Decent flick. Nothing beats the books though. The cover art could be worse.
Nice, although if they could get rid of the obnoxious "Digital Copy" banner on the 2-disc, I'd be happier. Just stick with "2 Disc Special Edition" and we'll be fine, thanks.
I thought this was a huge disappointment. Rather focusing on drama, it was more of a stupid teen romance. It's still better than previous efforts and doesn't anyone realize how all the boxarts usually look the same lol?
OMG! Much better than the overhyped "Order of the Phoenix," but almost as good as "Prisoner of Azkaban." It sure beats the others but it's definitely on my wishlist.
I have to admit that the 1-Disc artwork looks totally unnecessary. The film doesn't take place in a park or something.

Uh, that was what the sixth book focused on too. It wasn't just romance and broken hearts, but about Voldemort's ascent to power and how it's affecting Harry and the rest of the Hogwarts students.
The 2-part "Deathly Hallows" will be a grand return to the drama, but this movie wasn't lacking that either.

I don't know if I like the facial expressions on the characters in the art. Also the comments have me laughing
Harry's wearing the title as a hat in both of them ... actually the 1 disc looks like he's trying really hard to keep it balanced on his head.
Easily the best of the films so far IMO and probably my favorite too. I think both covers are good but I prefer that of the single disc. I'll be getting the blu-ray edition anyway so I'm curious to see how that looks. From what I hear the firsy disc will be the film, the second extras and the third a dvd and digital copy disc. If this is true I'll be thrilled.

Yeah, but the Blu-Ray will include the BD Disc, DVD and Digital Copy.

Best of the HP movies after PoZ! I thought the series was gonna suck after OotP, since it was so bad but no, this totally exceeded my expectations! Ill still be holding out for that one massive Blu Ray set when all the movies have come out though
Same day as my birthday
I was excited when I real 3-disc Blu-ray. Then it got to Dvd Combo, and I imagine the third disc will be that god damn Digital Copy. One reason people wont go Blu-Ray is because it's $30 a Blu-Ray. Though Many (Dumbasses) don't know that most are $24.99. They just see one and assume every BD is $30. I tell ya if they want people to Buy more BDs they need to stop that DC bulls**t.
This is the best one yet IMO, it really felt like the book, which is my favorite of the books along with Deathly Hallows. Can't wait to see this again, especially as i missed parts of it as two guys in their 20's talked really loud to one another and they ended up in a fight with this other guy and his girlfriend as they didn't shut up. It was all quiet after that. I never thought i'd be watching a fight during a Harry Potter screening. That's weird.
A bit boring for the kids this one, i thought it was O.K. Still the same old Grange Hill acting and poor script, directing. If only Terry Gilliam had adapted the first 3 books, now THAT is something i'd have loved to have seen.

Hopefully the extra material will be on the Blu-Ray disc. That should be my theory.
