FYI: According to Bill Hunt from thedigitalbits, he did confirm from WHV that these 2 new sets will NOT have extended cuts of the films. All of the previous extra's from the current releases are ported over. The value of these editions is the new documentaries on each film and a DTS-MA track for audio on both films.

Hopefully we'll see these ultimate editions in the UK once the final films get released.
I think I'm just going to buy the years 1-6 blu ray box set. I mean, they still have nice special features on them. At least good enough for me. The new documentary on these aren't enough for me to purchase them at that price while I can get the first six films for a very good buy.
If they release ALL the Harry Potter films with "ultimate editions" on Blu-ray, I'm only getting 1, 2, & 5 (if I have the money). I did not like the 4th Harry Potter, the 5th Harry Potter (for me) was a little disappointing, and already own the 6th one on BD. If they release both parts of the 7th with "ultimate editions", on BD, I'll have to see the movie first to decide what to get.
waiting for 1-8 movie box set...
No.
Disappointing. I was really hoping to see extended editions of these two movies, and not just with the deleted scenes inserted in. I really wanted to see those scenes with Ron finding Sirius in the common room, more of the graveyard scene in in "Goblet" and others.
Guess we'll have to wait before Warners does a 'definitive extended edition' of all eight movies with 'never before-seen footage!'

Though I wish they'd go with something simpler, the cover art isn't as god-awful as the first two. Not that good, but whatever. I'll wait 'till they come down in price.
No way are these worth it. I'm glad I never bought the Ultimate Editions of 1 and 2 now. The entire point (to me) would have been to have the extended cuts.
Kinda disappointed that there's no extended editions to these (especially Goblet of Fire, which is probably my favorite of them all so far), but I'll still get them anyways just because I'm a huge Harry Potter fanatic and I have the first 2 "ultimate editions". I'll just put these two on my Christmas list like I did last year.
why the first two films didn't bring a Lenticular art, here are lenticular card for years 3 and 4
I have Years 1-6 on DVD but I will possibly wait until all eight films come into a box set.
I can't wait! These 3 and 4 are definitely on my top list of Harpott movies. They are the most intense and engaging of the 6 movies. The 1 & 2 are CG festivals for kiddies while 5 & 6 are gritty but boring.
Okay I'm mad. I thought the point of these Ultimate Editions was to include everything, including the extended cuts! They did it for the first two, why not 3 and 4? They exist because they show them on ABC Family. They better release the extended cut for Order of The Phoenix, which supposedly they cut 30 minutes out of and it shows! One of my favorite book in the series, is one of my least favorite in the film series and I'm curious to see if the extended cut will help it out.
I cant wait to see the 1-8 Ultimate Edition Box Set and the monstrosity price tag attached to it. Im saving money and not buying one. Harry Potter is an overrated franchise. It was groundbreaking for many back in 2001, but the idea's tiresome and quite finished with popularity. Glad to see it end.
