It got a mixed reception from critics, but three of which I know from the former At the Movies show really liked it (Roger Ebert, Richard Roeper, and A.O. Scott) and it has a good score on IMDb. Thus, I'll probably rent it.
Agreed djblack1313! She was the reason I saw it in theaters. I must say I was pleasantly surprised though. This was a beautiful and thoughtful drama. And Cecile was terrific in it!

I saw it. I was hoping for more, as I was blown away by Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby. Damon is only in 1/3 of the movie, so the cover will be misleading to some. I felt it lacked the emotional punch the trailers were pushing. I'd give it a 5/10
we can only prey that this cover art gets a redo because I look horrible... It will not help it's sales at all.
i'm very much looking forward to seeing this! Cecile de France is awesome (i loved her in HIGH TENSION!)!!
Having been one of the few people who actually saw this movie, I can say that I loved it, and look forward to purchasing the Blu. It brought up a lot of questions about life, and what comes after. Very thoughtful and beautiful film.

I refuse to watch this.
It's funny I didn't think I'd like this but turned out to really enjoy it. I may rent it to see special features but I don't think the film would have much replay value. Same with gran torino it seems that eastwood take a little longer than some to come out.
The movie is a steaming pile of elephant dung.
not a fan... Clint Eastwood could do better.
