Fox Home Entertainment has announced a Blu-ray release of High Crimes which stars Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman. The disc will be available to own from the 1st September, and should retail at around $29.99. The film will be presented in widescreen, along with English 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio. Extras will include commentary by Carl Franklin, featurettes ("A Military Mystery", "FBI Takedown in Union Square", "A Different Kind of Justice", "Liar Liar: How to Beat a Polygraph with Sue Ducett", "The Car Crash", "Together Again"), and the theatrical trailer. We've attached our first look at the official package artwork below:

LOL ashley judd made like a string of just pure c**p films, almost all of them with her in danger and a jerk husband or man she knew. Just terrible

I disagree. I assume - in addition to this film - that you are talking about Double Jeopardy, Kiss the Girls and Twisted (which span from 1997-2004, and are interspersed with other films on her resume, so I don't know if that qualifies as a "string" )...I'll give you Twisted, that was not a very good film, but the other three, particularly High Crimes, I thought were very solid thrillers. Of course, having the great Tommy Lee Jones and Morgan Freeman as co-stars certainly can't hurt your chances.
