peter facinelli has got to be one of the worst actors working today. christian slater-too bad for him.
Just watched this. It was okay. I've seen worse STV movies.
it was so random to bring out a sequel like this! if you mention Hollow Man no one will know what it is!

I dont know...Sandlot didnt need one,The Net didnt need one,The Prince and Me didnt need one...trust me there are PLENTY of movies they runied with these DTV movies, but I dont think Hollaw Man was the LAST!

Hey, as long as there is a better story and no visible or invisible animals getting killed, I guess it will be worth watching.
Kevin Bacon has shined in a number of films. But Christian Slater's light went out years ago.
Love the cover art.
Ill say the same thing about Big Mommas House 2 but.... Didnt we say all we needed to say with Hollow Man 1??? Must we need a sequal???

I really like Peter Facinelli, he was great in Six Feet Under. May check this out. It looks terribly cheesy though, I mean, what were they thinking when they designed that logo? The cover looks typically DTV, so that's fine. I'll rent.

That's an insult to The Matrix.

I think it looks pretty cool. A nice modern day approach to the Invisible Man look. Plus Christian Slater is in it - this could be worth a look.
Ah, who am I kidding? It's going to suck.

That cover is great, but the movie, not so much.
As long as Slater doesn't do what Bacon did in the first movie, that is to show is white butt. That was just creepy.

As opposed to quality cinema like Alone in the Dark.

It's a real shame that Christian Slater has been reduced to this. Hopefully soon he will be restored to making decent movies.
You know a sequel to a big film is gonna blow when it's made for video. As for Christian Slater, he did "Alone In The Dark" for crying out loud! Obviously he is more interested in cr*ppy movies now than actually having a real career. But why the hell is Laura Regan in this? She deserves better than that.
Just the thought of 2 invusuble people fihgtin the rain creeps me out the way they will ruin the origianl
oooh no...im not going to fall for this direct 2 video sequel again... first I thought Starship troopers 2: Hero of the federation was going to be an good movie, but stupid me paid 20 bucks for it, fell asleep during it , woke up , replayed what I slept threw and never ever put that movie in a dvd player again. Man was that movie c**p or what? I'm gonna really wait for a review for this one before I pick it up. Althought the first hollow man had good special effects and ok story, I will just wait for what people say.
Christian Slater are doing these for the money cause he is doing loads and loads of theatre
aww Christian what'cha doing man
The description actually sounds 100 times better than the original. Will rent it.
Fixed

Yeah? WTF? Is the 2008 release date a typo?

Yes, go rent THE WOODSMAN, folks.
Kevin Bacon is an amazing actor and so is Slater.
Whoever thinks Kevin Bacon and Christian Slater are bad actors is a mouth-breathing cretin. End of story.

Because rap with a c in front of it in censored. it's a lose filter, so anytime the letters are strung together it will be edited.

Along with The Net 2.0, 8mm2, and Hollow Man 2, Sony is giving us Road House 2 and I Know What You Did Last Summer 3, so watch out!
It does look like a Matrix style cover. Why can't SPHE do direct to video sequels to movies that failed and people really want to see more of those chaarcters? I hope this one is good.
oh boy

Not really. Kevin Bacon had to do a lot than just do a voice over.

See, its done it again!

Maladroit : Kevin Bacon and Christian Slater
Well you know they both have some good movies and some bad movies but they can deliver intersting actings when they want to so lets hope that for this movie Slater was in good mood to deliver a nice performance.
Kevin Bacon and Christian Slater, it's like the casting agents closed their eyes, spun around, and pointed and landed on two s**tty actors for the Hollow Man movies.
The only thing that the original boasted was amazing special effects, I'm sure this one will look like c**p with a DTV budget.
Premise is cool, so I will rent it.
wow the cover looks like it is some kind of a matrix movie with agent smith and neo fighting l.o.l. :-)
well the first one was not a bad movie but wasn't what I expected it to be, I wonder what this will be (story, directing and acting wise. i'll give it a try and hope that it wont disapoint me. well I like the acting of christian slater (even in Alone In The Dark that I think wasn't that bad comparing to House Of the Dead of course) and this movie could be very interesting. well let us cross our fingers and wait for its release

Let's face it. The Invisible man. Easy money. Amounts to little more than a voice over

How much can Slater make from a film like this? Does he really need the money? Wouldn't he feel more tested doing stage (was great in One Flew Over The Cukoo's Nest recently) or some TV show (look what 24's done for Kiefer Sutherlands career)
Almost makes it hard watching True Romance... almost

Does this/will this have anything to do with original? couldn't they just call it "the invisible man"?
Why oh why does he do this to himself....and to us for that matter ! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Travolta style come back very soon !
What is it with sony releasing films like this?
first 8mm2, then the net2 and a host of others that just dont cut it.
Do these films actualy sell?

Talk about sc**pping the bottom of the barrel. Who the hell even asked for this anyway?

he now is the b-grade sequel king....

Well the good news is you won't really see him.

$25 for straight to video?! Seems extreme.
Like rape more women?
You know what... I was so dissapointed that they didn't do more with the idea of invisibility in the original, I might just check this out to see if they explore more of what people would do if they couldn't be seen.
wow, paying bills the hard way these days.
