Warner Home Video has announced DVD ($14.96 each) and Blu-ray ($19.98 each) releases of House of Dark Shadows (1970) and Night of Dark Shadows (1971) for October 30th. The only extra features will be the theatrical trailer. We've attached a trade advertisement with some early package artwork for the Blu-ray releases below:

Not enough extras (almost none at all, in fact), and no longer cut of NODS, so I'll pass until I see a new version that respects NODS properly. This being Warner, I may wait a few weeks after I'm dead.
If that is true about NoDS, that's tragic because that is what everyone has been waiting for. HoDS was supposed to a longer cut...let's hope. but at least one can watch these and forget DS2012 was ever born.
No extras is kinda of a bummer, i'm certain the survivors would have had lots to say.

I wonder if Night of Dark Shadows is the theatrical cut or the restored extended cut they have been trying to put together.
I did a little research and (sadly) it is only the theatrical version of NODS and not the longer version which is 35 minutes longer. Warner missed a chance to have both versions included for NODS

You'd think with the demand of these two they would include some special features.... Oh well, I'm just glad they're being released.
