Love Simon Pegg and Jeff Bridges, but this just looks... stupid.
I really enjoyed this. I was expecting it to be c**p, so it was a pleasant suprise.
How did this get away with a wide release?
I wanted to see this, but it left theaters in my city after one week. I may rent this.
I liked this a lot, definitely will pick it up eventually.
An alright movie, it should have been promoted better in the US, better than a lot of the other c**p that did well at the box office. Art is good.
This was actually a good comedy and sadly it tanked at the box office, big time. Where the hell is the Blu-ray release? I even saw the trailer n 1080p.
I have mixed feelings about this. I haven't seen it, but it looks funny. The trailers always show the funniest parts though, so it might not be that funny. I love Simon Pegg, Jeff Bridges, and Megan Fox. The synopsis sounds retarded however. The mixed critical reaction doesn't help. I'll rent it... maybe.
Pretty good movie and nice art. But, where's the Blu?
If this doenst get a Blu-ray release and that damn IGOR movie does (which already has a Blu-ray release), then ill be really pissed.
Not looking forward to the Canadian release! Yuck. can you imagine how terrible that will look with french and english crammed onto the spin!
Import we go!
Import we go!

Yeah, that ruins the spine. But sometimes movies in Canada will just have English packaging.
I really liked this movie, definitely buying it.

I love Simon Pegg, I'll give it rent and maybe a buy if I like it.

It did have a wide release on October 3rd, which 3 other big movies were being released the same day, if i can remember correctly it was Nick and Norah's, Blindness and Flash of Genius, i think there were more. Thats why it did so poorly at the box office.

It was solidly entertaining. The trailers were pretty uninspiring, but it was a really nice little movie.
Probably the only movie of 2008 that I still can't decide whether I liked it or not.
I haven't seen this. Trailer looks okay, the only thing kept me wanting to see this is Miss Fox though. Bummer there is no Blu release.
I liked it modestly- and in truth apart from looking absolutly gorgeous Fox is actually really funny here. Indeed everyone bar Dunst and Pegg is on form

She's a flat actress, with terrible acting and a horrible attitude. She's comes off as a vapid, yet pretty girl in the press, and it's no wonder she's been cast in the next Diablo Cody film...OH, oh you were expecting something like "I'd hit that with an iron fist."
Well...yes, I guess I would.

How come Simon Pegg looks like a wax model of himself.
I was disappointed to be honest, I'm just not a fan of Pegg or that foolish comedy routine.
Fox looks like Camilla Belle on the cover.
Hmmm... Camilla and Megan. Oh my.
Hmmm... Camilla and Megan. Oh my.
Decided to skip this one. Trailer just looked okay.
i think i might blind buy this one.
Warning! Simon Pegg and director Robert Weide are recommending that you stay away from the US Region 1 release as much as possible. There are hours of extras that MGM decided not to put on there - they ask that everyone try as hard as possible to get the UK Region 2 version. Look at Simon's posts at Peggster.net.
