This was announced and then cancelled a while ago. Let's hope the wait was worth it.

It's not. The least they could do is have a commentary with Willis...but mabye he wisend up and couldn't believe he actually made this movie!

OMG! I have been waiting for this for SO long! Thank you 8lb 6oz Baby Jesus for this tiny little blessing from Heaven. I can't wait for Hudson Hawk 2: 2 Hawk 2 Furious. Here's hoping Bruce Willis makes sequels to this film until he is taken from this Earth in a flying golden chariot into God's loving bosom.
PS - Webster's Dictionary defines sarcasm as: "a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual."

I'm usually against double-dipping....but I will probably pick this up.
Call me crazy but I actually like this movie. Do I like it enough to double dip? No.
Why don't they release stuff that's never been on DVD instead of re-releasing the same stuff most of the time?
When I saw this in theaters in the early 90's, my dad and I puzzled over it for a few days - was it a piece of sh*t or was it just trying too hard to be witty? After repeat viewings and enjoying it a whole lot more each time, I can say it was definitely trying too hard; however, I will be double-dipping this. I'm hoping the deleted scenes will fill in the Eddie The Monkey subplot...
Special Edition Director's cut that leads the viewer straight from the opening credits...to the end credits..with no film in between.
it has characters named after candy bars...

I liked this movie!!! And I defy anyone who doesn't come away after watching it humming Swing on a Star...

Ditto here.
Ditto here.
An obvious Bruce Willis Die Hard DVD cash in release. Live Free Or Die Hard and all the Die Hard movies are being released on 11/20/2007. Studios think people will want to buy other Bruce Willis movies like Hudson Hawk.
This movie was awesome. Crack wise all you like, but if you didn;t get this movie, the joke's on you.
I must admit, I also like thios movie. Granted it had some cheesy lines. But what movie doesn't. The idea was original, made one wonder who Da vinci was. And could someone please give him a cappaccino? *
This movie annoys me to no end.
I have the original R4 DVD of this which has a decent transfer [1:85:1 16X9, Dolby Surround] which has a commentary by the director already. Depending on the New transfer and extra features I might Double Dip. In the commentary The director mention how people didn't get the whole cappuccino thing, as It hadn't made it big yet, and coffee wasn't the big business it is today.

So, they ARE going through with this?!?!?! IMBCECILES!!!!
Though, the film is a great lesson in an unorganized film shoot! I mean, the entire movie is an awkward, patchy mess. The screenplay was obviously constantly re-written as they went along (among many many other things.) What a disaster!

It was an okay movie. I'd rather have a 2 disc version of "Last Man Standing".
Gawd - look at the rubbish they release and there is still no Howard the Duck!
Don't expect Bruce to ever apologize for this one folks. To this day he has still maintained that he is very proud of the film and that it was one of the most fun shoots he's ever done. Of course, as far as I'm concerned, he has nothing to apologize for. My only question is where in the hell is my 2-disc of Last Action Hero?
Like wasnt this like one of Bruce Willis's worst movies?...
I have never seen that movie.
the region 2 (in france at least) of the SE has been released for a while, now !
But I'm not sure it's the same bonus exactly !
I looove this movie, so non-sens humour it could be british or a "more serious" ZAZ parody...
Howard & Last Action Hero SE ? Hell yex, I agree with you guys !
And a Joe's Apartment SE, Demoliton Man SE (with the Lory Petty scenes) and, of course the 13th Warrior director's cut, as well !
Let's dream, people !
