Didn't see it, don't play on it any time soon.
I deliberately missed this in theaters because the 2nd disappointed sorely and reviews were average for this one.
I'll probably check it out on home video, though - with low expectations.

This was actually a fun watch in the theaters. Not as bad as everyone put it out to be. Probably won't buy it but I might give it another watch with a rental. Artwork is typical.
IMO, I thought this movie was stupid. There was nothing about this film that made total f**king sense. It was cute though but it was beyond ridiculous. I didn't mind the second film and I didn't have any problems with it. This one was a total waste of time.
Great film! Can't wait for the release and extras info.
I can't believe Shrink's Dvd release came a week after it released. Yet this one is still TBD, wow.
Is there a Blu-Ray. Shocked if there isn't.

Well more than a Blu-Ray - a Blu-Ray trilogy containing all three films is what I totally would want.

Never liked the first two, but this was solid, and was good for 3-D
I liked it. It was much better than the 2nd one.
SOLD!
i liked it... the first is the best of all!
but this was fun to watch

I would feel like I'm getting ripped off if there is NO damn Blu-Ray. Shouldn't 20th Century Fox also get a release of the cover art on Blu-Ray as well as revealing a release date sometime in November or December?
Oh, I also remember that the first two came out on DVD in November after their release. The second one came out on Blu-Ray in November at the same time but the first film came out on Blu-Ray March '08 in time for "Horton Hears a Who" which was released on DVD/Blu-Ray that following December. Hopefully this one will also be in time for a release in December too.
Still, where the hell is the stinkin Blu-Ray cover and the release date?

There is a Blu-ray release, I just don't have highres artwork for it yet. I do however have a tiny shot:

Is that going to be in a Blu-Ray trilogy box set? If so then I will be thrilled.
But yet again, thank you!

when the first ice age was released i wasnt interested then as i watched it...i loved it..second was great...cant wait to get this!!!
So weird ... I was never impressed with the first one -- I actually rewatched it recently and I was surprised that my opinions actually worsened of it. The 2nd one didn't do much for me either. Given that, I originally had no interest in seeing the 3rd, but I have a 4 year old daughter who's just getting to the age where she'll sit still for a movie in the theater and this came out so we took her to it and I was surprised to find that we both actually enjoyed it. Maybe I was just seeing it through her eyes, though?

Well, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself still. My mom didn't like the first one at all. She thought the second one was pretty decent but she hated this one. I thought the first two were only okay, this one wasn't really my favorite of the three. It was probably the worst one. I don't know. I just didn't think this movie was that interesting.
But I have a friend who goes to the movies almost every weekend. Originally, he had no attempt to see "Ice Age." He saw bits and pieces of the first one on TV, saw the beginning of the second one in high school, then after a while he then outgrew them, in fact he never really cared for them. Since he had enough time off from work, coz he's now working weekends only and he saw "Public Enemies" on opening day instead, he realized in advance that he would have enough time for just one more movie, so he went to see this and thought it was cute.
Though he thinks Scrat is selfish.

i guess Fox is jumping on Disney's idea of making dvd/blu-ray combo packs. maybe that'll be the future for dvd. no more single releases but always added in with blu-ray...assuming blu-ray takes over of course. lol
I honestly didn't think this movie was as c**ppy as "Quantum of Solace" as dull as "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" but still...I don't really care.
This one was quite funny. Better than 2, and as good as (at best) as the first, but not better.
Awesome
This sequel is underrated. I found it to be a fun and entertaining film. However, I will not be purchasing the 3-disc Blu-ray set, as tempting as it is. If the studios would lower their prices, maybe they'd get better profit. Although, no 3-D version? Boo. I know that it won't be as great as the theatrical 3-D, but still at least include the 3-D version. Coraline looked spectacular in 3-D on Blu-ray. Nevertheless, I'll still Netflix this.
I wish they stop selling that digital copy s**t. It makes the Blu-Ray cost more.

Actually it doesn't. Even if the Blu-ray is barebones it would still cost $24-$26. Amusement, was a Blu-ray disc that cost the same as this Blu-ray release and I'm not kidding, there was not even one extra. A digital copy is just a bonus. Yes, you can say it takes up space for a disc that could be used for more extras, but it is inaccurate to say that the digital copy is the reason why Blu-ray costs more.

The Funniest Part
I feel this sequel is the best compared to predecessors, which was more funny and better.
The Funniest part I found is when the sloth tries to milk a Male Yak.....and ends up running......"I thought you were a cow".

Still haven't seen this yet but will more than likely get this as the kids hound me for it
