MGM Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($17.99) and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of Igor which features the voices of John Cusack, John Cleese And Steve Buscemi. The new animated feature will be available to own from the 20th January. The only extra material on the DVD will be some deleted scenes, bloopers and a “Be An Igor” featurette. The Blu-ray release will include commentary by Director Tony Leondis, writer Chris McKenna and producer Max Howard, and an alternate opening scene.

Determined to prove he can create his own diabolical invention, a mad scientist’s (John Cleese) nice-guy assistant, Igor (John Cusack), creates a female Franken-monster. And the reason I connected the two was because I saw them both on the same day. And this was better than that "Bond" film. It wasn't even a proper Bond movie. It was under 2 hours and it felt longer than all 3 LotR movies.
