i'm not one for documentaries...but i like documentary style movies (i.e. cloverfield, blair witch project, the last exorcism, paranormal activity, quarantine, etc)...but i really wanna see this. this doesn't even make it to the theatres until next friday. fingers crossed that this is good. i really hope they included the whole david letterman fiasco.

"During a recent screening, buyers couldn't believe what they were witnessing. In the film, Phoenix apparently snorts cocaine off the breasts of a prostitute, there is plenty of full-frontal male nudity, an oral sex scene, Phoenix ordering call girls, assistants being abused, and the actor being defecated on while he's asleep."
The trailer for this film looked so strange that I have to see it.
I will make like I've gone crazy and almost buy it, but then at the last moment return to my normal state of budgeting for DVD's.
I'll hit this in no time.
Definitely a blind buy for me - would never get a theatrical release in Australia - and there's seemingly nothing more entertaining than the meltdown of a celebrity.
Also, it's a pretty good cover too.

I find this to be totally pathetic. Anyone with half a brain knows it's a joke, but these people still say otherwise, and give us a staged film that they still try to say is real. I wouldn't care if there was anything more to the joke, as in Da Ali G Show, but I don't see this having any of that series' social commentary, other than taunting us with voyeurism.
This is just one joke that has gone on for far too long, and eventually, I stopped laughing.
