Quote: Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in this sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is the best there is at extraction: stealing valuable secrets inside the subconscious during the mind’s vulnerable dream state. His skill has made him a coveted player in industrial espionage but also has made him a fugitive and cost him dearly. Now he may get a second chance if he can do the impossible: inception, planting an idea rather than stealing one. If they succeed, Cobb and his team could pull off the perfect crime. But no planning or expertise can prepare them for a dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy only Cobb could have seen coming.

while i enjoyed this movie, i don't know if its something i really wanna see again much less own. feels weird to say that because i always buy the movies i liked but yeah. but who knows, if there's some fancy schamncy blu-ray collection then i'll probably give in.
Lets hope the Blu-Ray includes a Maximum Movie Mode.
GREAT MOVIE! About time this announcement came out. I have to have it on blu-ray.
Happy for everybody. I think Christopher Nolan could do a better job in making movies than that. This movie went on for too long and it was so boring. The cast was amazing and it was a great concept, but it lost a whole point into making it. I thought THE DARK KNIGHT was a whole lot better.
no offense to anyone who liked this but i found this movie pretentious and up it's own a$$. it DOES have incredible imagery and a good cast.
Any news on the “Limited Special Briefcase edition” on US, like the UK edition
This movie was, by far, the best movie of the year. I was bombarded by impossible to live up to hype from critics and people who saw it before me and somehow it still lived up to all expectations and blew me away. This and Let Me In are my favorites of 2010!
My all-time favorite film tied with Pulp Fiction and The Lord of The Rings Trilogy. Saw it three times in theaters. Buy bluray first day. SO PUMPED!!! And hopefully we'll get the briefcase edition.
It's ok if this movie didn't appeal to the not-so-bright people in society. It's not for everyone.
i cant wait to watch the snow chase and the hallway fight in Hi-Def. i freaking love the music during those scenes.
An absolute must-own. I saw this one four times and I'm already counting it in my top 5 of all-time. Fingers crossed for an American version of that briefcase edition Blu-ray announced in the UK.
About freakin' time!! Day one Blu-ray purchase!!
This film is simply awesome, just pure awesome!!
I own all of Christopher Nolan's films on Blu, and whereas I never got around to this, I will either blind-buy or ask for it for Christmas.
Warner Brothers better not muck up the DVD's picture quality like they did with "The Dark Knight" and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." I'll be likely getting the Blu-ray + DVD combo pack, but still WB needs to stop slacking off.
Great movie BTW. You don't see original movies much nowadays, let alone good ones.

No super edition like the UK? Oh well still buying it street date
Will there be a super ultimate awesome edition??? IF so I'll get that.
Loved this movie. It asks the viewer to concede on a lot of details, but if you accept the rules of the film's world, it sure is a satisfying watch. The scenes filmed in 65mm should look great on blu-ray. Hopefully the scenes shot in 35mm won't be riddled with edge-enhancement like The Dark Knight disc.
Great movie, absolutely AWFUL cover art
Great movie, will pick it up on day one. Glad to see the DVD won't be completely extra-free. Would rather have a 2-disk set, but oh well. Like the cover art. Where is Marion Cotillard though?
This movie is overrated but it's still a good movie. It's just not the "best movie ever made" like people are shouting off the top of their lungs.
Only a couple of people bagging on the artwork, amazing. Usually it's a slam-fest of whiners.
I digress, I really enjoyed this movie and it did live up to the hype. Pretty done buying DVDs. Physical media is soon to be, for the most part, a dead horse but it is nice to know when movies are released for possible On-Demand viewing.

Heard the Blu-ray has an interactive Extraction Mode "in-movie" viewing option, the Dreams: Cinema of the Subconscious featurette, the Inception: The Cobol Job animated prequel short, an interactive 5.1 Inception Soundtrack option with composer Hans Zimmer, a gallery of conceptual and promotional artwork, trailers and TV spots and the Project Somnacin: Confidential Files BD-Live option.
I loved this movie and have been waiting for it. I found that, of all Chris Nolan's movies, this had the most heart. You really feel for the characters - something I couldn't do with his cerebral films like Memento and Following, no matter how much I enjoyed them.
I'm hoping for a briefcase edition too. If it doesn't release in the US then I may order it from the UK. Hopefully, like other WB discs that will be region free.

I myself am also hoping the US gets that exclusive briefcase set.
Well, here it is, finally. Must-have Blu-ray purchase of the holiday season. So glad about the news that Tom Hardy is gonna be in Batman 3. IMHO, his character had all the best lines and stole every scene he was in....
"You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling!"
BOOM!!

BOOM!!
This movie and Scott Pilgrim saved the summer of 2010.
This looks pretty light on extras. Appearing on the same disc, those extras can't be more than 10 minutes each. Hopefully the UK 2 Disc-DVD release would be better. Looking forward to it!
Yes, great movie, but absolutely an awful cover art!
