Wasn't all that crazy about this movie. I'm not saying it wasn't good, it was just..meh. Will rent but won't buy.
good to know the extras for both Blu and DVD are the same...
Sounds like a decent collection of extras...good that they aren't skipping out on DVD extras to have Blu-ray exclusives. First day purchase, definitely.
I WISH ALL COMPANIES WOULD DO THERE SPECIAL FEATURES LIKE THIS!!!! At least some companies still have 2-disk DVDs loaded w/special features!
Fantastic movie. Wonder what the art will be like?
A Nazi killing good time!! Don't F*ck with the Jew Bear!

Yep. But I'm actually getting Harry Potter and Night at the Museum instead. Saw Inglorious Basterds but will rent for my dad, still need to see The Hangover.

Will buy and only will play it on the future Blu-Ray player I get...
Was upset I missed this in the cinema, but I can't wait to see in on Bluray. Have the Bluray steelbook preordered already, not long to wait now.
I was mostly bored with this but i know i am in the minority. I just wish QT would do movies like he used to, whether it be writing or directing or both.
I will demand the 2 disc edition for christmas!
The best thing in the trailer to me was when Brad Pitt says "We're gonna be doin' one thang and one thang only... killin' Nat-zees"....something about the way he delivers the line is frickin' hilarious. I bugged the sh*t out of my roommates for weeks repeating that line at the most random times, particularly while playing Wolfenstein. Good stuff...
As for the movie itself, I have my doubts about how well the whole thing holds up (Tarantino is really hit-or-miss with me), but I will reserve final judgement until I actually see it.

Are you kidding me? I would like to f*ck the Jew Bear! lol.
Anyway, love this movie, and am extremely happy it's being released before Christmas, and will certainly get the 2-disk edition on the first day.

Don't ask don't tell Matt, we don't want to know you'd have sex with another man.
I hope they use the baseball bat with the helmet hanging off it as the artwork.

Can't wait. One of my absolute favorite movies of this decade and I hope when the Oscars roll around, one name remains on the tip of everyones' tongue: CHRISTOPH WALTZ.
love this film. Definitely want to own it when it's released on Dec 15th.
Waltz stole this movie from everyone else.
Definitely Blu, first day.
Definitely Blu, first day.

That case artwork is so un-Universal's. Universal doesn't do their case layout like that. No matter what, they always use their wavy slogan at the bottom.

You and me both man, I completely agree with you. I normally love his movies, all of them, but this was just a borefest. I will watch it again on DVD because I saw it at a late showing, and I was sick and I had just gotten off of work....maybe my opinion will change.

Can't really say I rushed out to see this one like the Kill Bills, but maybe I'll give it a whirl on Blu-ray.....
Awesome movie! Glad that Nations Pride made it!
For a movie that QT claims to have been working on for so many years, this movie is a real letdown. It's good enough but good enough just isn't good enough! I may buy this somewhere down the line to complete my QT collection, but it's no first day buy for me. Maybe I need to watch it once more. But I was disappointed from when I read the script the first time.
When the first few QT movies released, it was a very exciting period with loaded 2 disc editions of Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and From Dusk Till Dawn. But now we get bare-bones Kill Bill DVDs and incomplete Grindhouse experience DVDs. I haven't bought those yet, despite the sheer enjoyment that is Kill Bill Vol. 1. I'm one of those fools who just hopes that some day we will get complete releases of Kill Bill and Grindhouse.
I can say "fool", can't I?
