A good film. Much better than the similar Bedtime Stories. This film is more mysterious and a bit darker. way darker toward end
I still don't get why New Line/Warners still opts for the 2.35:1/1:33:1 flipper disc treatment. Fox, Universal and Paramount have all gone widescreen/OAR-only on their DVD releases, and it's even more sad to see the DVD devoid of bonus material. (Honestly, a widescreen-only DVD would save Warners even more money than providing a hack-and-scan job format on the same disc.)
But jumping onto Disney and Fox's bandwagon isn't bad at all -- this may be my first Blu-ray purchase. It's a decent movie, far better than the groan-inducing "Bedtime Stories." (And Brendan Fraser isn't as annoying as Sandler, either.)

Hey, I absolutely loved bedtime stories. The gerbil was a trip. Russel Brand was cool as always. Still, this looks good, too.
that ferret reminded me ALONG CAME POLLY lol
i'll get this =)
i'll get this =)
Blu ray, digital copy and DVD copy now? Nice...
Yep, this movie might be just the thing to get me on Blu-ray -- as long as it includes the DVD, the price is justified.
I actually wanted to see this movie but I'll probably wait until the blu-ray goes on sale for $20 or under. Nice artwork though.
I didn't mind Bedtime Stories. Just childish. This was more fantastical.
As for providing the DVD this is great. None of my friends have Blu-ray and my friend Sara liked this movie. She'll kick 5-8 bucks to me buying this Blu-ray and she can keep the DVD version!!! So I save and she gains brand new DVD for peanuts!

This is a great film to havce released as a combo. still want to see it.
I know this doesn't deal with the thread but how do you delete my account? I've been looking on the site everywhere trying to find a "delete" account button. If there is let me know immediately. I still love this website and visit it daily, but I just want to delete my account.
Loved the movie, but the lack of extras sucks.
Anyone have actual proof that a DVD copy comes with the Blu-ray? I'm not seeing it listed there. I see the digital copy, but that's different
Well the advertisement at the bottom lists it as being included
I wonder what's with Warners' recent trend of including German dubs on their Blu-ray releases (Final Destination, Elf, The Notebook, The Cell 2 and this movie)? Guess that's an indication Warners' Blu-rays will remain region-free.
PASS!
