Wow, that's an...interesting cover. This film is really disturbing, it freaks me out. I love Lynch, have all his films, including the 2-Disk Special Edition DVD of this film, but I have to say this is REALLY long and there's a lot to take in, so I usually watch this in two sittings.

Lynch is one of my favorites. This is a fantastic news.
Lol Optimum, an SD film on an HD disc.
I like Lynch and his films are certainly experiences. This one however was an experience I do not wish to repeat.
Disciple - Out of interest. Have they started putting chapter markers on Lynch's films yet or do you have to fast forward through to the halfway mark when you pick it up?

Yeah, I was wondering about that. Wasn't it shot on a Sony camcorder or something?

He used a Sony DSR-PD150 in 480/60i. On IMDb it also lists 'HDCAM SR (1080/24p) (source format)' but I'm not sure why, I thought the whole film was shot in SD.

Yeah, this is going to look like 28 Days Later on blu-ray: exactly the same. Wish they'd put some of his other films on blu-ray. I'd jump on Mulholland Dr. in an instant.
