The R1 is 4:3... is that the original shooting ratio? And what about this release?

hmmm i grabbed the R1 disc because it was so cheap and i never thought they would release a better release in another region because this movie is not really popular....looking at the extras list above, it looks like this disc has better extras than the R1 disc...but it doesn't have the commentary from the R1..hmmm

I'm glad the R1 is anamorphic 16:9 - all of the info I could find told me it was 4:3. Looks like I'll have to get both to be a completist however.
